Hello All,
Happy New Year!
I opened 5 boxes of Dynasty this weekend. I wasn't planning on it but I did.
I was at the LCS and a guy just opened a fresh case and pulled a Rod Carew /10. I thought cool, not a case hit. So I gave it a shot & Boom! Prince Fielder /5! I thought crap, that blows. Then I thought, there must be something dope in those last 3 boxes! So I opened them - Nolan Ryan /10, Jose Altuve /5 & Manny Machado /10. Not what I had hoped, but awesome cards none the less!
So, just as I finished up, another guy comes in & sees I was opening Dynasty & asked if they had some more. Store had 4 more cases, so he cracked a fresh one. The guy pulls a Freddie Freeman /10. yuk! The guy wasn't sure if he wanted to open anymore. The owner said he would give me a case price if I opened another. So I did - and got my 2nd Manny Machado /10! Yippee! Could have been much worse.
Then, the guy does what I did. He figured there had to be something cool, so he opened the last 3 packs. He got Ozzie Smith /5, Cole Hamels /5 & Chipper Jones /10. He wasn't jumping up & down...

Box 3 - Jose Altuve /5 (3 color - orange, blue white - letters TON from shoulder patch)

Box 5 - Manny Machado /10 (3 color - black, white, orange)
I my opinion both cases were kinda weak. But Dynasty cards are so great, it's all good. Now to keep My Wife from seeing the bill...
