Maybe I'm one of the few who doesn't mind seeing people ask this question, but I think it's okay. Is it a blatant attempt to market your card without breaking forum rules? Yeah, sometimes it probably is.

The problem comes, in my opinion, when there are people who really just use the boards for this purpose. We've seen plenty of new users make multiple new threads to draw attention to their cards. I think it would be nice to have a place to direct them to.

So here's the deal, what if we actually welcome that in this thread? Not that every card shown in here is for sale, but that this thread provides a safe place for people to ask, "how much is my card worth?"

Cards can be high end, low end, etc.....I would only ask that if there are clear comparisons in the recent ebay completed listings, that those not be asked about. In other words, check ebay first. But if your card is unique in any way that makes you unsure..... go ahead and post it here. If I see a card posted here and I have any knowledge that I can give that might be useful, I will! I invite you to do the same.

Good idea? Bad idea? Let me know what you think, and pls feel free to post your basketball cards that you wonder what they're value is.

I am not a Dennis Schroeder or gold standard guy. But I see what a few of his 1/1s sold for and a jeff Teague of the same card sold at $56. If I was selling, I'd do a BIN of $120 and see what offers I could get. But again, not a ton of confidence here.

The best info I have on this is a Vince carter gold turkey red /5 for $48. The only suede I know of is a Marty Collins that I sold BIN probably 6-7 years ago that I remember off the top of my head sold for $33. Lol. So you could say that my comps are not exactly ideal.

1/1s and super rare items I am absolutely fine with value questions. It's annoying when someone asks for a value and they could have taken 2 minutes and done an eBay search to get their answer. Or when they insist that eBay isn't a good indicator of market value

I think I saw you post a link to ebay in another thread. We were thinking the same thing. We're well past the point where there's a whole lot of debate. When people start a thread asking how much their card is worth, they're looking for a pm shortly thereafter.

I happen to think maildays are different. But I can see an argument for combining those. The difference to me ther is that when I see some people post a mailday, kamino, GSlayton, abra, slamma.... you can bet I'm going to read that. With a value question, I just think there really isn't harm in putting them all together.

I'd pay $150 for that. You never see those odd things like that from products we don't see anymore.

It's just going to keep climbing in value 20-50 bucks a years imo. Great one to just hold. Basement is where it's at now I'd say.

I owned one of these years ago. If I remember right, I got about $30-$35 for it. I'd guess probably $50-$70 now. But again, I'm no expert.

There's nothing more difficult than the logoman auto rookie market. It's all about who really needs it. Are there multiple deep pocket Schroeder (possibly German) collectors? If so, that could be $4-5k! If not, probably still $1500 or more. But man, I don't really know.

The rack pack, cornerstone, and lottery prize test refractors go for a ton because nobody is certain of the scarcity, though my understanding is that most believe 5ish copies, give or take, of each card made it to market. I would think $150-$200 is a reasonable estimate, but if two supercollectors were battling over it that could double easily. I'm basing this mainly on what I paid for my Mitch lottery prize test refractor ($250- double the 2nd most expensive Mitch in my collection to date). I'm guessing Mitch has a bit stronger following but your Damon has much better centering- lucky you haha :)!

Thanks for the input. I've debated buying the one that's on ebay a few times but haven't pulled the trigger. I really wish mine had the protective coating on it. The only Rack Pack Test Refractor from that year that I've seen with the coating is a Brent Barry that's on ebay, owned by the same seller of the Stoudamire.

My brother just got back into the hobby within the past year. He has been doing group breaks, and ordering a few boxes online here and there. He hasn't collected prior to this, since the 1990's. He collects basketball exclusively. Last week he got 2 boxes of 15/16 Panini Gold Standard that were lackluster, so he ordered 1 more. It came in today and he sent a picture of his hits to my phone.

He hit the 15/16 Panini Gold Standard Terry Rozier RPA LOGOMAN Auto 1 of 1. He was pumped because he is a die hard Celtics fan. Not sure what he's doing with it, but would love to have a ballpark idea, of what people think this could be worth.

Was the card pulled in the authentic slab, or it was raw and damaged?

A BGS 8.5 went for $ 761,00 in August last year, back in 2013/14 some of these cards (raw) were sold for mere $ 400 - 500.
Sorry, but I doubt you would get a 90s or buypack AU for this amount ;)

There are two reasons why I stopped.

First- life but busier. It became more and more difficult to carve out a couple hours every week to plan for the pod, record it, and then make it available.

Second- there is a $135 subscription fee that's necessary to do the podcast in the format that I was doing it in - I believe if you don't pay the fee, you're limited to a certain amount of total time recorded and each episode can only me a minimum of like 5-10 maybe 15 minutes. Can I afford that? Sure. But it's a factor.

I REALLY enjoyed it. It was a blast having people ask me questions, thinking of ideas for the show, learning how to do a podcast, getting a logo, music... we even had a few episodes hit 250 listeners.... which doesn't sound like a lot, but given that the only place I discussed it was here and Twitter, I felt like it went really well!

I feel like if I could have delivered on making "conversational podcasts", as I promised so many times to do, and kept the show going every week, it could have been really amazing. Seriously. Somebody else with lots more skill, time, and energy should do it, and all the players, Beckett, psa, panini, and blowout should sponser them. For sure.

Our community needs it. I really believe that. With the death of the LCS, the boards have become paramount. But we need more connection to each other. That's what I was trying to do.

There's a chance life will quiet down at some point and I'll take it on again. I did REALLY love doing it. But right now, I think I am done.

Two very nice cards. Hard to place a value on Logoman though because theres probably a handful or less willing to actually shell out for the card. Just pure guesses on these as well using some data from other rookie logoman autos. Data shows logoman have been going for 11-15X the base RPA.

The premium for a guys undisputed best card is really something. I agree with the idea of using multipliers as a base, but it's far from perfect.

When it comes down to it, when people want a players best card, they're going to be willing to pay. Sometimes amounts that seem insane. Welcome to the modern high end market!! :)

I would buy at 12K All day if you're selling. I say value is 16-18.

Multipliers dont look as good for Jonas. It puts it at $550-750, whereas before the season it was more like $1000-1300. Of course there may be some huge Jonas fan willing to drop more to add it to the PC.

Honestly. As someone who collects mainly Raptors i can tell you Jonas cards have really sunk in value over the last year. There were 4-5 guys actively chasing Jonas hard before - now they're all selling or willing to move their cards. Unfortunately, I don't think the quoted value is actually that far off(a bit low) in an auction type setting.

I think there's only one Jonas card in the last year to break the $200 threshold and it was a Flawless 1/1 with a unique patch - it went for just over $300.

Here is an Octo auto from Ebay. I have one of these /10, but this guy took better pictures, he has it up for like 20k though. I doubt this combo will ever sign on card again. Think how many rings are represented on this card! There is a version /10 and /5, and a white 1/1 version.

I would never sell it at $550-750. It's way too cool of a card to me to give it up for that. The $1200 mark would be more considerable. However, like you said, I don't need the money at this point, thankfully. I have the Darren Collison NT's logoman auto also, and haven't had any need to sell it. I did sell my Vince Carter NT's logoman auto to a VC supecollecter because he offered a generous price.

I think of the NT's Logoman autos like the Bowman Chrome Superfractor autos... so crazy difficult to pull, that it's incredibly hard to sell them.

Yeah, there are a lot of quad autographs with Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, and Garnett that sell for hundreds less than ones with just Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron. Of course, that is an obvious case of "one of these thngs is not like the other." Garnett, while a superstar in his own right, is not in the same echelon as Kobe, Jordan, and Lebron (whom I consider the greatest players of my generation)

First off I'll take it for $30. Secondly, that set is much harder than the previous year version to find. I would value it at about $200-250. Not sure how that $350 was bid. 97-98 version is probably a $100 card. Hope this helps. First one I have seen

I've had this card for over ten years now, and the prices for triple autos of these guys have been everywhere. They've gone from $750 to maybe $5000, and I wonder how many different ones were made. The best info I have on this is a Vince carter gold turkey red /5 for $48. The only suede I know of is a Marty Collins that I sold BIN probably 6-7 years ago that I remember off the top of my head sold for $33. Lol. So you could say that my comps are not exactly ideal.

Regarding the suede. It was a popular parallel set when the set was released, but I don't think I've ever seen them autographed.

Well the same card as yours was re-listed 3 times last year, and finished at $3k, $2.5k, and $2.6k - so I'm guessing there was some shilling involved but a good range imo would be 2k - 2.5k

What's odd is I can't find a single image for any of the basketball box topper relic/auto cards, according to the checklist and pre-release information there were supposed to be 30 individual subjects. Then again, it also announced the suede as #/5 and the Morrison dual relic was Larry Bird instead of Redick. Google images has football & baseball photos but only the base oversized cards in basketball.

I guess I won't be getting a "how much is my card worth?" answer anytime soon? :)

Just saying thanks for the input on the O-Pee-Chee MJ guys. Obviously the value was my main concern. This complicates things as I dont want to hustle anybody. Plus it is kind of a tight knit group of collectors over here. I want to keep it, but its rightful place is in a Jordan PC, and I already promised it to one.

That was just a guess based on recent sales of his RPA /199. I would never sell it for less than 1K lol. It's like you mentioned, they are in the same category as Bowman Chrome Super Autos in baseball. Either way its an awesome card!

I've always wondered what the value was on this card. I had just got back into collecting after a pretty long hiatus. This was one of my first more "expensive" boxes at that time. I remember being happy that I pulled a Larry Bird jersey, I believe it was. I got down to the last card, in the last pack of the Trilogy box and hit this card. I felt like I hit the lottery. I was always a fan of Alonzo, but then I saw it was numbered 3/3. That was unbelievable to me back then, lol. Still a pretty cool card.

Going through my collection a few nights ago, I found this. Thought I only had the green Prizm, but I had the Auto'd version. On Beckett, only says 2 have been submitted. The other was a 6.5. Saw a raw version with an off sticker auto go for $140. Curious as to the approximate value. Listed on eBay high until I get a decent idea on value.

That Ultimate MJ /10 is tough. I would think 1500-2k range being /10 and Jumbo Jersey, not patch. I think the Lebron and Kobe from the set are like 350-450, and Kobe is the weirdo sticker.

My gut on the Kawhi Contenders Patch auto /10 is around 600-800. I think over that, people would just prefer the Immaculate RC.

The Octograph with Bird/Garnett/Melo is such a mix of players with varying popularity. It would be tough for me to think this is over 500. You never know though

There was a Draymond Gold Auto from the same set that didn't sell for $80. I would put the Blue /25 at like $30 high. A 2016-17 Blue /49 did $13.

WOW - I think 04-05 - even though most of the rookie class kind of bombed out - is still one of the best designed Exquisite years, and still had strong MJ content. Were the MJ's all live in 04-05? Were there any big redemptions? I think this has to be 5-6K. I could be way off.

Ah, true - I forgot about the Limited Logos values from that year's set. They are beautiful. I think closer to 10k then. I would never try it though. The only place I could see a case like this being busted is the National.

Thank you for the response. I think that you are right about visibility. It is a tough card to search for. A few years ago, I tried to search the other 2 on ebay, but didn't have any luck. I was contemplating trying for all 3. This thread is turning out to be pretty awesome. So many cool cards coming out.

I'd say 50-60$. Hes headed down to the dleague and hasnt shown much. For comparison a Georgios Papagiannis gold prizm (raw) is sitting on ebay for 80 obo. He was the 13th pick vs 47 for layman so his chances of succeeding are far greater.

I'm a big LeBron guy, and I just don't like Durant on the same card. I don't know if I'm the minority of majority. That may be clouding my vision, but with Durant's values being down right now, I do not see this as 1k+. If there is a Warriors Cavs finals matchup, this could get that money during that time.

Yeah I'm inclined to keep it. It's hard though cause i'm first and foremost a Brady collector and just seeing his rookies sky rocket has made me tempted to sell the Lebron to buy a Brady rookie but you're right. There aren't too many Lebron "The Chosen One" cards going around and a rookie year card no less.

The 15-16 NT Kyrie Logoman Auto sold for $6,300 last May. I was looking for something comparable when I pulled the NT Wade Logoman Auto, so I was paying attention to it when it sold. I would say in the 6k-7k range. Although it is his first Flawless Logoman Auto, might get more of a premium for that.

Someone pulled the 2/3 recently and sold it on eBay. It had a damaged corner (mentioned in the listing) and still went for $400.

Even prior to that, I've estimated that mine, which isn't damaged, is worth at least $500.

Thanks for your insight. The closest comparison I could find was Josh Richardson. Both Nance's and Richardson's immaculate RPA sell for ~$35, but a Richardson gold prizm bgs9.5 sold recently for $200. I'm pretty unsure on price at this point, and Prizm prices seem pretty variable by player, and as you mentioned, the Laker factor.

I just got this Bill Russell autographed card.

I can't seem to find it on Beckett (with Shaq in the cover), and can't find it under "sold listings" on eBay.

I am attached two pictures of the cards up close so you can see the condition imperfections. They are two because I turned them around so it will feature both lighting angles to highlight the imperfections.

First, I'd like to know the BV of this.

Second (which is the title of this thread), I'd like to know what it's "worth" given it's condition imperfections and the fact that it's not slabbed.

Last oneself for $241 but the one before it $138. Some collectors probably aren't concerned about the serial number and would choose the cheaper /25 version instead. I'd either lower your price or wait and see if they both end up on the Lakers together.

Not a lot unfortunately. On a good day, maybe $15. If you list it at auction there's a very good chance it sells in the $5-7 range. Select Tie Dies sell for under $8 and i'd argue they have a stronger following. I like him as a player but his stuff goes really cheap.
