Paypal funds being held?

Ive sold stuff before here and haven't had any funds held before. Sold my first item today on ebay and funds are on hold, why??? I dont get that

Pretty sure eBay holds the money from your first X number of sales (don't remember the exact total) to make sure everything goes smoothly. Makes sense for new sellers to eBay, but kinda annoying too

Typically 25 selling transactions and they will stop holding.

only if requested...paypal now does this thing where only the first 1000 or more depending on type of account is held gets freed up anything after that is on hold for 21 days
