Last night my son and I had a dude's night consisting of video games, junk food, Return of the Jedi, and a box of Legacy. Got a film cell of Luke entering Jabba's Palace and this little guy. We were super excited.

Nice... Took the picture on my iPad upside down. Oh well, you get the idea.

So awesome! Congrats on the cool card! I love hearing stories of passing on the hobby to the next generation.

That's a really great card. I love the Legacy set! Broke a box a few days ago, and got a sail barge relic.

Well played. Jedi Legacy, another set that is a fun break at the right price. $500 or so.

Thanks everyone. I am enjoying the non sport section of BO. People that post here seem to be more supportive than in the baseball section. I have been a long time baseball card collector. As of late I have become rather jaded. Everyone is out for $ and the huge hit for profit. I tried to get my son into baseball cards, but it just didn't interest him even though he loves baseball. He enjoys opening packs so we decided to have a go with Star Wars because we both love the movies. We have had so much fun with our short time with SW, that I am going to liquidate my entire baseball collection to reinvest in the time I will get with my 7 year old.
We love getting the hits, but we love set collecting just as much. I am so happy to have rediscovered the joy in collecting that I once had opening up baseball packs. We look forward to posting all of our breaks and getting to know and deal with the Star Wars collecting community. Thanks for all the kind words!

That's what collecting's all about. Welcome to non-sports!

Sweet!

I feel like this set or the one after is where he started to sign only Kenny on his autos due to his health declining.

He signed his full name on all of the ones I've seen for this particular set.

Nice Hit, let me know if you are going to try to build a set. I have a bunch of the blue parallels and complete connections/influences insert sets.

Nice hit!
I actually opened up a box of Jedi Legacy over the weekend too.
I hit a film cell of Luke returning back to the farm to find it destroyed, and then I hit a Ewok relic, which I thought was really cool!
