Hey guys ive only graded cards one time at psa.. is the january special the lowest its been? Im wanting to grade a 1954 topps raw set.. most of the commons.. so it would be about 200 cards..

Just been debating to see if its worth it or not to grade the cards.. Would cost around $1500..

It's as low a special as you will probably see. They had a $6.25 per card special for pre 1956 a couple of months ago but I don't think you will see that again. As for it being worth it to grade, that is for you to decide.

Lowest I've seen in the past two years is $5.75 per card, with a 50 minimum. Normally the price per card goes up the closer you get to the deadline for the annual registry competitions (I think May 30th?). So if you want a lower unit cost, you might have to wait until the summer.

If you are going to grade an entire set you need to definitely call them and try to negotiate a deal

There 20 day special for $10 last month was one of the best deals they've offered in a long time. Kicking myself for not submitting a larger order.

But for vintage 50 day specials, that's about par for the course. Sometimes $0.50 higher, rarely $0.50 lower per card.

I'm not real familiar with the PSA vernacular.

Would a "Regular Size" card include smaller cards like T206 and Goudey, etc?

Yes. That includes smaller cards than 1952 Topps.

Does this include modern cards?

Modern is cheaper. $6/card, 25 card minimum

I think I'm going to send off a 30 day $10/card order and see how that works (min 10 cards). I've had good luck with early popage recently.
