I'm a big Harley fan, and having Margot Robbie play Harley on the big screen certainly didn't hurt, and was wondering outside of Batman Adventures #12 what IYO are the top Harley Quinn comics out there.
THANKS
For myself, not the market necessarily, I am a huge fan of Batman: Harley Quinn #nn and Mad Love as well. BA12 and those two are the three to have. Of course there are two versions of Mad Love I think.

This is my favorite Harley book since I don't want to invest the money in BA12:

What style do you like her as? Early block style with a cap, like the cartoon? Its batman adventures covers.
Sexy? Then its usually variant covers...
Short shorts, or skirt?
Depends---they are really overloading harley....with plenty to choose from
there are only a couple of key books for her, but she remains top of the pecking order.

And in my opinion, all of the keys are pretty affordable except BA12. Even Mad Love and Batman: Harley Quinn can be found in CGC 9.4 for just over $100. Of course the price goes way up when you want a 9.8, but isn't that always the case.

Harley Quinn 1 Adam Hughes variant is also a very popular Harley book.

Has anybody ever seen the actual "Direct Currents" that solicited "Batman Adventures #12"?. It was comic-sized, full color covers, and issued monthly for years, but just a few pages, and really, a poor answer to the full-sized Marvel house comic of the day "Marvel Age". Basically, comic stores and subscriptions services sent them out for pre-orders as they were issued a month or two in advance of the comics they advertised. (Direct Currents was free, to be fair, but even so, Marvel Age was a bargain-priced full-length comic that was one of my favorite comics each month, and cheap! I wish DC had done the same back then.)
Anyway, from looking at it, you can see that DC had NO idea what they had with Harley. While several other of that month's covers are shown, some in color, BA #12 only gets a little blurb of text. Even "Walking Dead" had full pages solicits in Diamond Previews in the months leading up to its debut..

That's why Harley is so popular. Her success has been driven by fan interest, not marketing weasels telling us she's cool/funny/hip/etc..

I suspect they put a little more effort into advertising her first mainstream app. BA, after all, was an all ages book.

True dat! That is a nice book as well.
