I've seen a lot of people making 2017 resolutions about getting into/more into vintage, and I'm also trying to shift to a vintage-centric collection.
I'll be updating this thread throughout the year with my vintage pickups. For now, I don't have much of a focus, and I'm basically just grabbing affordable stuff that piques my interest. I'm hoping that by going that route, a focus might form sort of organically, but, eh, who knows? Guess we'll see throughout the year :)!

1974 Topps Dave Parker RC — This was my first vintage get, which I grabbed last year. I have no particular reason to like Parker – not a Bucs fan, was barely even alive when he retired – but I found myself really liking this card. Maybe it's the nickname. The Cobra is definitely one of the all-time greats.

1969 Topps Clarence Gaston/Bill Davis — Cool story relating to Gaston: One of my varsity baseball coaches was John Sullivan, who was the Blue Jays bullpen coach for their 92 and 93 titles. Sully an awesome guy, and I since I haven't been able to find a PSA RC of his I like so far, I figured Cito would do for now.

1969 Topps Dock Ellis — No No, the doc about the LSD no-hitter, is great. Recommended for sure, if you haven't seen it.
