I believe you guys... Some guy was asking for $500, and I was like "Ugh, no way it's even worth over $40 bucks." I couldn't tell him that... :doh:
Not much. Waste of space and waste of storage boxes frankly.

if you could buy them for like $25 bucks you would probably double your money thats about it though

Yeah no offense to the seller but this was a major part of the dead era of basketball cards, so glad it recovered. Not saying there are not some sweet MJs and other inserts out there but years 88-95 were brutal

Yea OP, don't mince words with anyone trying to get that much for such common, cheap sets. There's about a 1% chance the guy wasn't aware they weren't worth 1% of his asking price. If he truly wasn't aware, I def feel bad.

True that rare inserts weren't implemented across the board for sets until 96-97, but 94-95 was the real start of that recovery just due to the sheer design improvements. Obviously stuff before that time (Beam Team/Scoring Kings/Power in the Key/original Finest, etc.) remains insanely popular, but 94-95 will always be the precursor to quality b-ball cards, imo.
