Just starting a thread for this weekend just so we can chit chat and post our hauls. If anyone happens to have an extra Manny voucher, let me know. Have a mother's day ball I wanted to get signed.

Manny vouchers are still selling for $125. Crazy to me, as I figured that they'd have dropped by now.

Debating going to see if the game used sale is decent this year. There's really not much other than a ballpark tour and autograph vouchers, otherwise.

Wish some of the players were solo. Wouldn't mind getting something signed by Flaherty, but don't want to pay for the other two gents.

$125? That would be a deal at this point. On the bay, most of the recent deals for a Manny have been in the $140 to $180 range. One ended last night for $172.

Sooo glad I pulled the trigger earlier in the week -- thought I was over-paying, but ended up with a "steal", buying for below $100.

I believe you would simply walk over to the stadium -- if I recall from other years, they cycle people through on a fairly regular basis. I did that with my daughter when the Fest was in Dec of 15 and we got a Christmas photo with the Bird on the field.

I'm hoping this year the SGA line offers some better stuff and more variety -- last time it was crappy t-shirts and the Steve Pearce bobblehead.

Is Machado a difficult signer in Baltimore? He seems to sign a lot, for a player of his stature, on the road.

You just walk over to Camden Yards and they do tours at certain intervals. The convention center and OPACY are pretty close to each other. It's a relatively short walk.

That's happened a few times before. I think the boat show works a deal with the orioles to boost attendance for fanfest lol.

Keeping tabs on the auto ticket sales -- someone got a "steal" today - 2 Manny tickets for $100 -- the seller could have easily doubled their money on that.

Hoping the winds are too bad tomorrow.

What time is everyone going?

I'm thinking to get there at 9:30 for the season ticket holder entry - though I am sure the line will be massive by then.

Just got back.

A few observations:
1. Entry was pretty painless -- thankfully they started letting us in 15 minutes early for early entry ticket holders
2. Promo item giveaway was disappointing -- line was incredibly long as always - tried it twice and both times got the same crappy emoji t-shirt -- and this was giving 1 1/2 hours between rounds. I recall years past where they changed up the items every hour or so to keep it interesting. Only positive of the second time thru was they also gave out a maryland theme O's hat. I know, you should not complain about getting free stuff, but its just different than how they have done it in the recent past.
3. Game-Used Stuff -- had a bunch of Wieters bats for $150, but without MLB Authentication stickers -- if I was a Wieters fan I probably would have picked one up
4. Used Banners -- they had a bunch of the ones they hang outside -- really liked the two sided Machado/Jones Southwest Airlines one -- but at $75, they were really pricey.
5. Authentics Store -- ridiciulous prices -- highway robbery -- not surprising knowing those guys
6. Crowds -- mob scene -- lines for everything - even spinning a wheel at Baysox or Keys tables
7. Autograph Station -- really annoyed they only let one person up on the stage where the players are -- I had my 11 year old daughter with me and she had to juggle two balls to get signed (one was a foul ball Manny hit that my wife caught, so only wanted him on that) -- I know in years past that I was able to go on stage with her but stand behind so the line still flowed ok -- I understand they want to keep folks honest on getting things signed, but its really not a very fan friendly setup at all.

In general, I will not be going again unless i have something specifically to get signed and even then will only come in for that session and skip everything else. The other stuff is just not worth all the lines and crowds.

Yeah one of the lines I was in the monitors or whatever were like "ONLY ONE PERSON ON STAGE AT A TIME PER VOUCHER". The other two it didn't seem like they really cared.

Not a chance -- my guy asked to see the ticket. The copy trick might have worked since he didn't actually scan it -- just looked at it. Maybe next time.
