View Full Version : The First Two of a Long Set Chase

I'm setting out to complete a hard but exciting set. I want to get the entire 14-15 Panini Eminence MVP Silver Signature set. There are 34 in the set and these are the first 2 I picked up. My main goal is to get one of each player and then fill in the multiple MVP's over time. It's going to take forever and it's going to be expensive but most importantly it's going to be fun. I should have some better scans up soon.

I dont understand this sentence; "My main goal is to get one of each player and then fill in the multiple MVP's over time." If you get one of each player wouldnt the set be completed then? Whats left to fill in?

Sorry, that was worded horrendously. Players like Larry Bird and Bill Russell have multiple cards in the set for their multiple MVP years.

Good luck. I have been working on the base eminence set since the set came out. 36/47. Still haven't seen some.

It's a 50 card set but 3 of the numbers are missing from the checklist. I've contacted panini about it. They have no information on them - at least I haven't seen them up in replay yet. Haha.

Also, I don't know if the Vince carter card that's on the checklist exists. I've at least seen everyone else from the checklist at this point. I believe I have 36 of the 47 from the checklist. It's been a long and time consuming project. But I'm going to make it. Your project is also going to be crazy hard. You can do it, but you gotta stay motivated.

That mag looks kinda scratched, you should replace it with a fresh one. :devil:

Never! Pure unadulterated eminence casing.

Sigh.

Which is making this set chase significantly more difficult. There is one card that I know of where at least 3 of the 10 are no longer in the original case. Luckily I have that card. :)

I like the Wiggins rookie on eBay right now where they say it's a pop 1. Well no sh^t. You don't grade these cards.
