Looking to see if anyone has any feedback on card shows that happen in the state of Wisconsin. I'll provide some feedback/info for the shows I have gone to, but would love to see some info on what else is out there for Wisconsin based shows.

Labor Temple show - Madison: small show (5-6 dealers), $1 admission, decent door prizes....small show with sometimes stale inventory, and one dealer in particular that relies too much on book price

Clarion show - Madison: small show (5-6 dealers), $1.50 admission, door prizes nothing special...small show with sometimes stale inventory, and the same dealer that relies too much on book price

Gonzaga Hall - Milwaukee: big show (90 tables), $1 admission, I think they do door prizes but hard to hear over live auction that runs during the show and on the show floor....love going to this show

Root River Lanes - Franklin: smallish show (about 8 dealers), $1 admission I think, not sure on door prizes....small show in a very poorly lit room inside a bowling alley, don't waste your time

Clarion Hotel - airport area of Milwaukee: small show (5-6 dealers), $1 admission, not sure on door prizes...a lot of vintage there, room is well lit, not crowded at all

Serb Hall - Milwaukee: medium show (10-15 dealers), $1 admission, not sure on door prizes....about 1/3 the size of Gonzaga, but there is a decent amount of selection here.

Very cool. I am preparing to set up at the Madison shows. Still organizing my stuff. Was hoping to be ready for this weekend's Clarion show, but will not be able to.

I've been to the Gonzaga show many times over the years - by far the biggest with the most selection of any show I've been to in Wisconsin. I used to frequent the Serb Hall show but felt like I kept seeing the same stuff time after time so I stopped going.

West Bend has a show a couple times a year at the Moose Lodge. Probably around 10 or so dealers so not a huge show. They've had some good signers to draw people (Paul Hornung, Andre Rison) so traffic can be pretty decent depending on who they get. I've setup there and had some good luck.

I am in Wisconsin Rapids, so I have to travel to these. Honestly, if I am not planning on being in the area the only shows I would drive over an hour for are the Gonzaga and Labor Temple show.

Gonzaga is a beast of a show and outside of the National, haven't been to anything close. A ton of dealers with anything really. The only thing lacking would be wax as there is usually only one or two.

Labor Temple has a lot of lower end .25 boxes that I love to look through. Plus I have a good relationship with most of the dealers there that they bring stuff for me. Unfortunately this show is on hold right now.
