Sun and Moon Blisters/Pre-Release

So i opened 2 hangar single packs, 1 3-pack blister pack and a pre-release box that had 2 extra packs.

Long story short, i'm embarrassed to post anything because it was so bad.
i got probably 5 different regular Holos, 0 EX cards, and 1 Full Art Team Skull Grunt Supporter card. it was awful. My pre-release card was Bruxish. Unsure because of how far behind i am now if I want to complete the set, but the case break may help a bit. I maybe buy a few packs from my lcs and if I don't get a secret card or at least an EX card then I'll be pretty unmotivated with this set. I'm almost up to the cost of a booster box. Shouldn't have went to Walmart.

This is always the killer. We've done ok on the blisters. But even still probably spent too much. I'm going light on Sun and Moon until more theme boxes come out and in the meantime grab anything cheap i see with generations packs.

How much did you pay for the pre release box? Was kinda interested in finding one.

i paid 40.00 and it came with 2 extra packs so in total i was getting 6 packs and a promo card plus like 20 other cards that came in the cellophane pack with the promo. Not a bad price but the pre-release cards are nothing like the evolutions ones which are little more valuable due to name recognition

Thanks for posting this break. I felt like everyone was buying 2-4 packs and hitting full art and rare GX cards with all of their breaks!

I bought 6 packs from a hobby box and we hit a Rotom Dex full art card. But I also bought a couple of packs from Target and hit nothing. I think we'll skip to hobby boxes from the card shops. 1) The packs are about the same price and 2) Supports small business :-)

Same here. Pre release was super good to me. 2 Elite trainers and about 10 additional packs and all i got was a Hyper rare Umbreon...got like 3 Krookodile holo rares (WTF)..This set is way expensive, may be better if i just buy singles..

I busted two cases.

I managed to get one complete master set - regulars with all the rares (holo, UR, Hyper Rare and Secret Rares), and reverse holo (I needed outside help to get some that I missed).

I am going to try and get a second sets going.

I am also going to sort some of PSA-able and send them out and keeping fingers crossed for 10s.
