First off I have nothing but praise for comc, it's really the only place I buy singles now, but I was just wondering if anyone has had any issues or maybe an idea about timelines when it comes to comc placing redemptions into your port? I have two redemptions I purchased on the site. Both are panini cards and live since December (according to panini redemption update site and I have seen multiple live versions on eBay). I have emailed them multiple times and they have responded quickly to my initial emails but they have never emailed me back about progress. They have asked for the item numbers and I have sent them the numbers just keep telling me they'll get back to me. Is it generally a long wait? Thanks!

COMC redemptions are generally a mess. Especially since they don't know which cards were sent as replacements, and their system can't deal with getting multiple cards for a single redemption. (I'm sure Topps giving them "free" cards along with all the redemptions this month is screwing with them.) I have probably bought 5 redemptions on site, and I don't think any have actually been filled. They were supposed to work on this sore spot over the last three months of 2016, but I didn't see any improvement in the ones I own. And I haven't heard of anyone on blowout having positive redemption stories with COMC.
Maybe they should redeem them by user with shipping to their Mailbox service so at least they know which user is supposed to get the cards...?

I've had good luck with the process as a whole. With the exception of a few apparent problem redemptions (dead people, never made). I've had no less than 20 redeemed with no issues. I'm also told that Topps screwed there system up by sending replacements with no explanation of who the redemption is for. So basically Topps just sends comc an envelope of cards.

Will never buy another redemption from the site-horrible results and I feel like I threw my money away

Well I actually received a response from comc via email. I was told they still can't track the cards down and as far as they know they haven't actually received them. I was offered a refund for the cards but declined as they were both PC items with hopes they will arrive soon. I feel like the offer of a return is their subtle way of saying we have no clue where the cards are and would rather not deal with this but I'm going to hold out hope. It sucks too because one of the cards I definitely got a very good price on.

(emphasis mine)
This is pretty much their solution to the majority of their customer issues; COMC thinks that if they can throw enough store credit at the customer, then the problem will go away. It doesn't resolve anything on COMC's side, it's just meant to "shut the customer up" and make the problem go away...
Good for you for not taking the easy way out and forcing them to actually address the problem on their side. I hope you get your cards.

Bumping an old thread, but for those that have had Topps redemptions this year through COMC, have you gotten only your original cards or also the freebies that Topps has been sending out?
Wasn't sure if those were making it to consignors or not.

I received a redemption a few months back and was only given the card on the redemption. No freebies. Hopefully they at least gave the extras to the charity account or something.
