Yeah that's not cool at all. Really shady people do that. I've had plenty of cards that didn't sell for what I wanted. A card is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Happens a million times a day... and not just with the tiny world of sports cards.

Reality. Is what it is.

Sadly there are plenty of people with no moral compass.

Is this a serious question OP? Are you letting someone borrow your 6.4k+ posts user name or what?

Geez, ok. As a seller, this thought never crossed my mind. Whatever a card sells for, they pay, I just immediately print a label and ship it!

It's sad really. If you don't want to risk it, just put a BIN/BO and take offers (that's what I do on cards I have a target amount I want to hit).

Eh...

My response wasn't an attack at you, so I hope you didn't perceive it that way. Even though you redacted your original post, it has plenty of merit and is always something to be on the lookout for. I had a large seller that gets plenty of negative attention on here that I won a 1/1 auto for $1.25 with $3.50 shipping that they didn't use a tracking number and the card never made it.

I'm just happy that anyone who feels like this behavior is acceptable has either been banned or has enough sense to know they should not admit to such improper behavior on here.

I do this too, if I want a price I set a BIN/BO and just go with it.

Then as a sports talk personality would say, "Toughen up butter cake", - Joe C.
There are choices when listing cards. Those choices may deter bidders but it comes down to letting the card go to a open market or keep it at home for future decisions ?
