Contenders Adrian Peterson Auto Rookie QUESTION... Please help!

I notice BO has 2007 Contenders in the Black Friday Special... Great Price but I know all of the redemptions are expired.

Does anyone know if Adrian was a redemption? I can't remember!:confused:

I know several of the SP's were redemptions so just unsure of what you can actually get....

Any thoughts? Happy Thanksgiving!

I know a few that were redemptions for anyone else interested... Troy Smith, Kenny Irons, Ahmad Bradshaw, Brandon Jackson?

I know a live one was pulled from a box at my LCS back in 07, so guessing he is not a redemption.

Plus at least usually Panini will still give you something for expired redemptions, even if it's from before they took over.

Peterson was not a redemption. However, 2007 Contenders is loaded with many redemptions (unfortunately). Redemptions from 2007 include:

However, I'm not 100% sure about that and you certainly don't want to count on it (they are expired for a reason, afterall).

Panini is good with redemptions. I hit one last spring and sent it in. I don't remember the no name I pulled, but they sent me 2 no names to replace it right away, so have no fear, panini is the best with expired redemptions:)!

From that list I would have to pull the trigger, Willis is the only one of any value there

Kinda funny that the case price was $50/box but the individual boxes were going for 21-36/each. I picked up individual boxes.

This is interesting that you bring this up...

I think that individual boxes were selling for 21-36 so that BO could spread the wealth a bit and give as many people as possible a chance to get in on the deal. I know those boxes went fast...

But, here's the thing: Just because boxes were going for 21-36, doesn't mean that 12-box cases going for $599.26 (or, roughly $50 per box) wasn't a great deal.

Like I said earlier, I challenge anyone to find a 12-box case of 2007 Contenders for anywhere near the price ($599.26) that BO was letting them go for...

Just busted the 2 boxes of 07 Contenders from the 12 days special. The two redemptions I got were
151 Gaines Adams & 233 Troy Smith. Going to send them in next week in Hopes they still have them. I need them for the set.
