Alright, it's weird questions with Adam time again.... I just started thinking of this question and it made me feel old :) so here is the question....

Name the ten active players in the league that have been with their franchise the longest.

No using google. Just have to do your best off the top of your head. I have mine ready to paste from excel, but want to see who you guys come up with first. :)

I figure I'm missing some obvious ones but we had quite a few guys leave long-term spots this past offseason (Wade, Noah, Horford, DRose, etc). I only came up with 7 for now:

Dirk
Manu
Tony Parker
Steph Curry
Hayward
Paul George
John Wall

You guys are doing good. I don't know if my list is good, but I only have one guy who has a Panini rookie card on the list....

Consecutively? Or does LeBron count?

Not even saying he would make the list... just seeing what the rules are. I know there have been other players to play for the same team twice.

consecutively. Good question. No Lebron.

Well if Curry is on the list than Blake is on the list. If George is on the list than so are Wall, Cousins, Bradley... If Westbrook is on the list then so is Brook Lopez.

I feel like people are just randomly picking one guy from certain Drafts when there are multiple that would have the same time put in.

Ricky Rubio hasn't been mentioned.

I feel like we should have to go back farther (ignoring the old guys like Dirk and Parker) but I don't think we really have to. So many guys change teams these days.

Dirk Nowitzki
Tony Parker
Manu Ginobili
Mike Conley
Zach Randolph
Russell Westbrook
Steph Curry
Blake Griffin
Gordon Hayward
JJ Reddick

Ran out of people for my 10th pick. Didn't wanna go with someone from the 10-11 draft class. Paul George could be a good pick. He was 09-10

Nick Collison

Nick Collison

That's a good one. I was trying to back through that Draft (when I was asking the LeBron part) and I felt like I was missing someone.

Nick Collison would beat them all (except for maybe dirk)

Udonis Haslem

Dirk

Blake

Brook Lopez has been with the Nets for longer than Curry has been with the Warriors.

Still not a patch on the likes of Dirk, Parker, Haslem, Manu and Collison though.

Dirk
Collison
Haslem
Parker
Manu

Gets tougher after that, I'll go with:

Gasol
Conley
Curry
Blake
Gibson?

Throw my boy Taj in there, forgot he was in the same draft class as Curry

Udonis Haslem

I was going to say this as well. He must be one of the longest serving players at the moment (not that he plays that much).

DeAndre Jordan

I'm trying to go through Draft's in my head. I think we have nailed most of the guys until you get to like Kyrie types that are still in the 5 year range.

^^^Beat me while typing out the post. LOL

Surprised DeAndre Jordan hasn't been mentioned

Nick Collison

Heck. I didn't have him.

Here was my list -

Dirk
TP
Manu
Udonis
Conley
Marc
Westbrook
DeAndre
Brook
Blake

You insert Collison instead of Blake, and you get ten guys who were 08-09 and before.

the one that comes to mind not yet mentioned in Tucker with the Suns.

I can't name too many, but just want to say about the difficulty of staying with one team, especially given the $$$ talk nowadays. Heck, I wish that Paul Pierce would have stayed with the Celtics and didn't get traded.

Whatever the circumstances are, respect the players (stars or not) staying put with one team, even more so to those going through the tough times together with the teams, be it record-wise or other factors.

Parker
Manu
Westbrook
Collison
Dirk
Griffin
Jordan
Cousins
Wall
Pg13
Hayward

That's what I can think of right now.

Brook Lopez is the most "forgotten" player in the league. Has been his whole career.
