Just received the message below. I was messaging the guy back and forth, he paid (through eBay) and I printed the label this morning' and had the card in my mail box to get picked up. Just ran out and grab it before the mail guy came. The money is in my PayPal account and I have already printed the damn label! Should I still ship? I think so because the money is still in my PayPal account. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello,
We had to cancel bids for the buyer, tracmcgrad_0, because they aren't registered on eBay:
222406314956 - 2012-13 Jimmer Fredette Crown Royale Silhouette SP Rookie Patch /25 On Card Auto

We've also made it easy to relist your item if it was removed. Although the item is no longer available in search listings, you will find it in the Sold section of My eBay. For more information, please visit:
Relisting your item (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/relist.html)

To help you avoid this situation in the future, consider setting a Buy It Now price and requiring buyers to make an immediate payment. For more information on immediate payments, visit:
Understanding immediate payment (http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/require-immediate-payment.html)

We recommend you take the following actions if this buyer won the item:
- If you haven't received payment, don't complete the sale or send the item to the buyer.
- Don't communicate with the buyer directly.
- Verify any payments you've been notified of by logging into your PayPal account (or other online payment service).
- If the buyer requests a refund or additional payments, don't send any money without contacting eBay first.
- If you've already sent the item, try contacting the shipping carrier to find out if you can stop shipment.

In these types of situations, we may, at our sole discretion, decide whether to credit the fees for removed listings.
- We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s).

If you have any concerns or questions, click "Help & Contact" at the top of most eBay pages.

We're sorry for this inconvenience, and thanks for continuing to work with us.

Thanks,

eBay

I just sold him a card as well. Unfortunately, I sent it two days ago. I'm not sure what to do either.

Very strange. I think I HAVE to ship just because I have received a payment via PayPal.

I don't think you "have to ship" but since you already were paid can you reach out to the seller through the email on PayPal where you received the payment?

Likely had their ebay/PayPal hacked and/or using a fraudulent credit card. It says not to ship in the email and if you have shipped to get it redirected back to you. I would not ship under any circumstances in this scenario.

It just means Ebay has suspended their account for some reason.. Since you have not shipped I would just refund them and void the label for a refund.

Yeah, you should either proactively refund and request the refund for your label or wait to ship until ebay makes a decision on whether it was actually a fraudulent purchase. I see one of these every few months, usually there's a problem with the other person's account; you should expect to hear from ebay one way or another inside of a week.

I have gotten them after I have shipped and never had an issue. I have gotten them on items that were already delivered and feedback left for. Its just a standard email they send out to all sellers that have dealt with them in the recent past.

If you wait too long you will not be able to void the label, I think they give you 3 days or something like that.

I have a package on the way to him as well. Sent it a couple days ago looks like it will be delivered today or tomorrow. Tracking will protect you in most cases unless he decides to mail everyone back base cards or something
