I know I said my giveaway early in the week was going to be my last of the year, but when an opportunity presents itself, you take advantage of it. In my LCM break today I pulled a redemption for a Rolando McClain freshman fabric. The winner of todays giveaway will be pmed the redemption code from the card so they can redeem it. Here is how today's giveaway will work: First, I would like you to post the best thing you ate on Thanksgiving yesterday. Second, I would like you to post your favorite holiday memory. Third, I'd like you to say whom you would like to spend your Christmas with. (or Hanukah if appropriate). I will randomly select a winner from all eligible entries. Giveaway ends at 10:15 pm tonight. Good luck everyone.

And not a official part of your entry, but a little prayer for PapaJim and his family to yourself, would be appreciated as well.

1) A salami sandwich that I had for breakfast

2) My brother and I used to sneak into the living room in the middle of the night on Christmas to check out all of the gifts under the tree. One year the entire living room was full, couln't walk anywhere. My brother actually stepped on one of my gifts and broke it open. It was a pull string talking Simon from Alvin and the Chipmunks. I guess that would have been like 24 years ago.

The best thing I ate yesterday had to be the ham. We purchased a ham from a fundraiser (so it was way overpriced - but went to a great cause) and it was seasoned just right. Best ham I've had in quite a while - dare I say ever?

My favorite holiday memory is two fold: As a child it was waking up to find a factory sealed box of 1992 Upperdeck - my parents (even though they bought me my first packs) thought cards were a waste of money and I had to spend my allowance on them - they never surprised me with them until that Christmas!

As an adult it was a few years ago. My nephew really wanted a new wrestling video game and my sister let it slip to him that I had bought it for him. I started talking as soon as we got to my parents (where Christmas presents were exchanged) about how I had bought the game for myself and had been thoroughly enjoying it. I got my nephew a pack of socks and wrapped under the tree - (however we had cut it open from the bottom and slid the game in between all the socks and then resealed the bag with some invisible tape). We have it on video of him ripping the gift over excitedly only to watch his face turn sour as he turns the socks over a few times not seeing anything else. He tried to be a good sport about it but his face gave him away as being disappointed. We let it go for about 10 minutes before telling him to open the socks. I think it taught him not to read a book by its cover and also that Christmas is about family, not about gifts.

I would like to spend Christmas with my in-laws (no really). My family is not that close and my in-laws absolutely go all out for Christmas and it is a blessing to be able to spend the Holidays with those that expect nothing more from Christmas than family being together!

1- Best thing I ate was the Snickers pie or the Turkey enchiladas we had just now for leftovers.

2. I remember getting caught by my mom trying to stay up late and catch the Easter Bunny, I had carrots in my hand and everything.

3. As long as the wife and kids are with me, its a holiday. Im working in CO as many of you know and havent been with them as they are home in NE but they have been here in CO with me the last few days and its been great.
