I have had some bad luck recently on eBay with 1/1s I've won. My first was a printing plate that arrived severely bent. The USPS folded the envelope in half for some reason at some point in its journey. It was flat when I got it from my mailbox, opened it up and the plate was in a toploader and bent. The seller refunded me right away which was nice but the card is trashed. Then the second one was a 1/1 on card auto. The guy sent it in just a toploader and didn't even tape it shut (no team bag or anything over it either). It had slid about 1/3-1/2 of the way out but luckily wasn't damaged enough to be upset about. But seriously. A 1/1 on card auto in just a toploader? I was pretty sure the card had been shill bid the first time it was on auction so I guess it doesn't or shouldn't surprise me he shipped it like crap, but still. That's my rant. Just can't figure out why sellers think cards like that should just go in a toploader.
