I'm doing the March show and have no clue what people at shows want. I know it's a bottom feeder show, but I have plenty of stuff.

Any suggestions aside from 10 cent cards? Or is that the way to go?

Bring .10, 25, .50 boxes....YOu will have a #@#@#@#@ ton of vultures digging.

Can bring some showcase stuff too........foot traffic is good but the amount of money in the room varies month to month.

Thanks guys. Problem is, I really don't divide my stuff up into .50 cent boxes and such.

I wonder if Topps Now cards between $5 and $10 would sell. Would anyone care?

Anyone think team sets would sell at all?

I know it's a bottom feeders show. I just wonder if anyone will buy cards that aren't in quarter and dollar boxes.

So it's 10 days away. Started putting things in a box to prepare for the show.

I have some loose packs of 1979 and 1980 Topps baseball. Will be interesting to see if anyone cares.

For anyone that cares, I did the Bordentown show yesterday.

I had a decent show.

Observations:

People there had money to spend.
People were much more interested in high end cards than low end cards
Vintage was popular even though I only brought a little - I sold out of it
I had various wax items (older than this year) below BO but sold very little of it
Some guy had Topps 17 Jumbo boxes for $85, no idea why
Not a lot of interest in figures and such
Hot players were Bryant and young players like Swanson
I sold 3 Heritage High Bryants at $55 each
Sold about 15 or so Topps Now cards plus 3 PSA 10 Topps Now
People really didn't know what Topps Sapphire was

Just a few thoughts...

And the next show will be totally different haha Sounds like you did pretty well. They are a blast for me and I love doing them but each one is always different lol

I'm going to miss the April show and then do the May show. Should be interesting. I do not expect to do the same dollars and such there, but I will be better prepared with inventory. I was doing this show just to get a feel for it and ended up doing well. It was a nice change!

I was there shopping from 12:30 until the show ended. I was able to stock up with Kyle and picked up 4 5000 ct. boxes from Rob.

I go either once a month or once every 2 months. I've quite frankly have gotten bored of the ramada because I haven't had much luck recently. Let me know what you have and maybe I'll go down to ramada to see your table in may (or if you go april)

Btown is hit and miss with amount of money in the room. If you are reasonably priced on your singles you can do well since most of the dealers tend to be high on cards.

I never got around the room. My cards were all priced around ebay as I didn't want to waste my day in the hopes of getting high dollars that I would likely not get.

That being said, there weren't any Mantles or superfractors at my table.

I won't be there in April for sure, but will be there in May. As for what I'll have, I'm not really sure at this moment.

But my pricing will be close to ebay, that I can tell you. Not worth my time to price high in the hopes of a few people paying high for something.

I'd rather move more volume.

I'll make a post a few weeks in advance of the May show.

I try to get there every month. Used to try to hit Bordentown AND Garfield but Bordentown has been better for me as of late. Between Andy Kyle and Rob I can usually load up.
