If I was the kicker, I'd transfer to another school. And Assuming these refs wer WAC officials, I would have assume they'd let Boise win somehow, considering WAC could lose millions(potential profit) if Boise don't go to a BCS bowl.

Gus has been on mike for some of the greatest moments and plays in the NCAA tourney and is always at the right spot for a great NFL finish. He makes it that much more exciting

Youtube the end of the Denver/Cincy game last year and the Jags hailmary win this year. His calls are beyond great

Wow, how do you lose to a team with no defense. Boise as I have said all along was so overrated. Nevada has to be one of the worst ranked teams I have ever seen play, well at least they finally beat their first ranked opponent this season.

Vanderbilt could beat either of these teams 8 out of 10 times, now on to another overrated team to talk about, TCU.

Thanks for playing Boise...next! SEC will dominate this year as usual. I love seeing my LSU Tigers at 10-1 and as much as I despise them, Auburn will likely win it all. Nobody will be able to stop Newton. When it comes down to an O-line blocking Fairley, none of the other teams who are likely to go to the BCS Championship will be able to stop him. Nobody.

Regardless, beat the Hogs tomorrow! Let's roast on some pig, Tigers!

Damn I can't believe my dear Hawaii was blown out against Boise, but defeated a Nevada team who...well...should thank the Boise kicker & send him some flowers at the hospital.

I don't know if you've noticed, but the SEC is nowhere near what they used to be in years past. If you're best team defense allows 24 unanswered points in one half, I don't think that's saying a lot.

LSU is possibly the luckiest 10-1 team ever. The Tennessee debacle, the lucky bounce on the fake field goal, the fact that they win without a QB who can actually throw. If you put them against Oregon, they lose by 20 easy.

Auburn-Oregon will be a good game. But I don't think people realize how good Oregon is. They are west coast and play late, so a lot of people don't see them live. But I promise ... they are the best team in the country.

TCU is not overrated. They are a great team and will play good teams. They are also one of two teams to beat Bob Stoops at OU which maintains the current longest home win streak in the country.

And no, Vanderbilt could not beat those guys 3 times out of 10.

I am on the east coast and have watched Oregon several times this season. I love their style, but they would not beat LSU by 20. LSU has a better defense than any team Oregon has played all year.

Oregon is good, they are not great, they are very small on both sides of the ball, yeah they are fast, but Auburn is faster and bigger and stronger. Arizona's QB threw for 450 yards, what do you think Newton will do to them, 500+, if he decides not to throw down 200+ on the ground on top of that. Auburn dictates the tempo and fairley for Auburn will sleep in Oregons backfield and create havoc.

yes they are overrated, put them in auburns shoes and they go 9-3. They have played two ranked teams in oregon st and utah, and we all see what utah has done lately. And oregon st, wow tough schedule, any defense would look good against the high school teams they played in the middle of their schedule. I hope they go to the NC game an play auburn so everyone can see what a joke they are when that defense gets smoked by a real team

We may be "lucky" but it doesn't matter because we have the wins to show for it. So, we win without a QB who can throw? The same QB who beat Alabama's D? And I'm very confident our defense would shut down Oregon and torch Oregon's D. In case you didn't notice, Nick Foles passed for over 400 yards on them today in a losing effort. Our D-line led by All-American Drake Nevis would eat up their O-line. Our star CB and future top 10 draft pick, Patrick Peterson, would shut down their best receiver.

We play Oregon to open the season in Dallas next year. Geaux Tigers!

But you can't say they are overrated as they have won every game they have played. I also want TCU to play so they can get their shot and either prove they deserved it or lose and show what people have been saying.

Well, its officially over, no BCS bowl for the Broncos. I will be suprised if BSU even stays in the top 112 with as much hate as the they get from the voters and media. Oh well, still a really good season.

Razorsharp79

I can say they are overrated based on who they have played this season which is nobody. No way they are the 3rd ranked team based on their schedule, LSU should be ahead of them IMO, and stanford. They need to move to a real conference and play with the big dogs if they want to sit at the table come dinner time.

Can we all now just admit what everyone should have been saying all along...Boise State has been overrated all year.

They cannot compete like the Big Boys week in and week out. I don't recall a team ever being overrated year in and year out like Boise State.

There is a reason they won't play the Big Boys without getting at least $1Million. Even they KNOW they're not likely to beat them.

I hope Boise State tries to change our minds and offers to play some of the Big Boys for free. I think that's the ONLY way to save face now.

Well done Nevada...well done!

Give me a freakin break. They have lost a measly 5 games total in 5 seasons and have won both BCS bowls they have been in to include a win over OU. I am sure you will find some way to spin that though as some sort of fluke. No one claims they are the greatest football team on the planet but to claim that they are overated is just plain ignorance.

Except that the majority of teams they play are middle schools, schools for the culinary arts, or night schools

Its very plain to see that you are a pro BCS guy by your posts. I am going to assume that you are probably an SEC guy at that. Maybe I am wrong but all clues point in that direction. If BSU went 10 years in a row undefeated you would still be claiming that they are overated so I am done with this thread. You have your opinion and I have mine, which by the recent polls shows that more people agree with me than you, since they are still in the top 10. Noting personal is meant by any of this and I am not trying to start a thread war but its just rediculous to hate on a team so much for doing nothing more than playing damn good footbal year in and year out. They lost 1 game, whoopity do, ever great team loses 1 here and there.

With their exact same schedule, there are 15 other teams in this country that would have lost less games and won those bowls games.

No one claims they are the greatest football team on the planet

I have heard several people over the years claim they should be playing for a National Championship. That would mean that some people claim they are at least the 2nd best football team on the planet, which is obviously way overrating them.

but to claim that they are overated is just plain ignorance.

To claim they belong in the top 10 at any given time is just plain ignorant.

Ohio State's President was dead on correct.

Those "great teams" that lose 1 game here and there are playing several other "great teams" during the same season. That's THE big difference between them and an overrated Boise State team.

Once Boise State stops demanding $1Million plus to play the "great teams", I'll start believing in them. That is of course, if they can beat those great teams.

Razorsharp79

Boise could go undefeated for 100 straight years, but if they play no one worth a crap what does it matter. Losing one here or there to freaking Nevada is seriously a joke, they would get laughed off the field against any real competition yet Boise lost to them. Boise needs to play a top ranked team with something on the line, most of the teams they play in the bowl games could care less if they win or lose.
