Probably in wrong thread, but flipped a coin and put it here. Does anyone here have Topps Finest Cornerstone or Lottery Prize test refractor of David Robinson? I have a thread with all my needs, but really have been wanting these. Even if you are not wanting to sell, I just am trying to gauge how many of these are out there. PM or post. If you can point me to another person that will work a deal, may even be able to kick in a finders fee.

Probably more of a buy sell trade type thread but it does start good conversation. Those are brutally tough to find of any player. I'd like to see pics of Robinson and other players. I know where 1 of the Hill 94-95 Rack Pack test refractors are and that's 1 of only 2 that I know to exist.

Anyone have a way to get in touch with this 'Paul' character? Apologize for misplacing thread here. Hope these pics lead to scoring and not another cold shower

There was a David Robinson in the pic. So, I'd say this thread was a success.
Thanks for all those pics Abra!

He auctioned them off a while ago on eBay, after picking them up on eBay for a steal and when I say steal, I mean the cards may as well have been given away considering their rarity. I don't remember the sales numbers on the first, or second sale. He's been banned from this forum only more recently and possibly from HK, I don't remember to be honest. I don't remember the reason either.
hairyangryfella and some others might have his eBay info, you might be able to contact him through there.

Thanks for pics. As a relative new comer, I'm ignorant to some aspects. What's it take to get banned from here?

Successful, but will just have to look longingly on a missed opportunity

There are many reasons someone gets banned, usually the mods seem to be pretty lenient but usually if a negative behavior (trolling, excessive swearing, etc) continues over and over again then you get the ban-hammer. I don't remember what it was with Paul- but man are people glad he's gone.

I remember reading the threads years ago. He paid about $40 each from New England sports cards.
I was less of a believer than others. I thought the whole thing was silly. And then he sold Abdul-rauf for $250. I wasn't septic after that.
Did he sell the others? I think he wanted $1000 each for the stars. Thanks

The Cornerstone cards were issued as base versions only, they were never meant to be released as refractors. So any Cornerstone, or Lottery Prize, or Rack Pack refractor that you find, is a test issue not meant for release.
