Porzingis, buy or sell?

What are your thoughs on Porzingis? Is his young player hype going to die down? Is it time to buy now or to sell?
Since his game is not necessarily flashy..but he IS in the NY market...


His prices are still up, I know KAT is a buy right now but what are your thoughts on Porzingis? I'm guessing its going to slowly drop back down similar to AD when AD came out?

Wait until offseason. Knicks aren't going anywhere this year.

That said, he has the size and shooting touch to be dominant. However, random minor injuries have been a concern for him this year, especially towards the later part of the year. Take that for what it's worth. And right now he's getting absolutely destroyed by larger, more physical defenders.

He needs to put on a lot of weight this offseason to take his game to the next level. Unlike Nowitzki, he doesn't have that patented turnaround fadeaway at the key that gives him an offensive edge on every possession.

Just realized his prizm silvers are still up around 10-20 dollars over where they were preseason. Interesting. Thought they'd have dropped back since he cooled off this year and the team is pretty much out of contention. Guess he also has the added benefit of having the international draw.

NY ain't trading him anytime soon. He has tons of potential but his potential might have a cap on it due to the Knicks front office's incompetence. Last year, he was surrounded by 2 guys who love to shoot and hold the ball (ie melo and rose) as well as being forced into an offense that doesn't play to his strengths. It will be interesting to see what happens with a different offense and when they trade melo. I say still time to buy.

Bgs 9.5s were only 75-100 not that long ago. A bgs 10 could be had for less than 190 during the season.

I love Kristaps. If I owned any of his cards I would hold what I had and buy more if I could get a good price.

I would sell. Im not high on him and I think hes very injury prone. At best knicks win 35 games so in another year his prices should be lower.

I don't feel like he is a good term prospect. I am more bearish on his outlook. He falls in the too tall category for me. I think he will always have nagging injuries and then an inevitable ankle problems at some point. Not to mention he will toll away on a crappy Knick team.

I'm bullish on Porzingis. By getting rid of Phil Jackson, the NYK are clearly all in on him. I don't think the team will be good this year, but Porzingis has a chance to be "the man" on a big market team. I'm a buyer.

Raw Silver went for $250 tonight. He keeps scoring 30+ so this may look low very quickly, especially if they're winning games.

Everything before the big Prizm Explosion this year is going to look a bit silly. The Giannis silver BGS Gem I sold for $650 just earlier this year already looks crazy silly. I only had it for a few months and I'd bought it for $250.
