Hey guys,
I shipped a BGS 9.5 graded card to the US in a bubble mailer along with other cards and the BGS case cracked mid-top to mid-section. Does anyone know what the cost to submit a damaged case for re-slabbing is? The buyer is going to send in a batch of 16 cards to BGS anyway so I'd like to compensate the buyer for the incremental cost to re-slab.
Thanks in advance!

Last time I did it the cost was $5 but that didn't include shipping or insurance. May want to check the website or call to see if the cost has increased.

I think it's still $5 as well- which irritates me because I have two different cards I want reslabbed because Beckett screwed them up in the first place.
I have an MJ Tiffany parallel from 97-98 Fleer that they slabbed as the Crystal version and also an MJ/Stackhouse card slabbed with Stackhouse on the front (he's the back of the card). Don't really wanna pay them to fix their own mistakes so I just grin and bear it.

I've had them slab cards with lint inside the case (twice) and with the mylar bag pinched at an angle. In all cases they reslabbed for free as it was their fault. Call them on the phone.

Just confirmed with Beckett, it's $5 per re-slab.
Thanks everyone!

Has anyone done this recently? How long does it take to receive a re-slabbed card? I just received a damaged slab in the mail. The seller did not disclose damage, so it could have been damaged during transit. I really don't know. The bubble mailer package does not show any sign of damage, but it could have been dropped by the USPS.
Thankfully the seller does offer a 30 day return policy, but I'd rather not send it back to them if I can avoid it. The crack is on the bottom on the back, it is not noticeable from the front. I just want to know if it would be worth it, and what I can I expect. I just endured a nearly 1 year turnaround on non-guarantee so my recent history with Beckett has not been praiseworthy.
Thanks everyone

Every time I’ve submitted a card for re-casing with BGS, it’s been an automatic 2-day turnaround time.

Thanks, was it a recent submission? My fear is if I submit it to Beckett it will be in submission purgatory for months and months due to their absurd current backlog.

I included 3 reslabs with my last 20 day grading sub and they didn't charge me for them.
