Unfortunately my blue demons haven't been in the tournament since i was in highschool  so i usually turn to a favorite for the year besides my perennial favorites (duke, MSU, louisville). This year it is St. Mary's (Aussies, im sure you guys follow lol), One of my best friends from college, her little brother just won DPOY in the WCC for the Gaels, he also sent me a shooting shirt from his days at Boston College, so i have an obligation to be biased in the Gaels success haha.
With that being said, realistically i think UCLA has a great shot with that 2 headed monster they have, I can also never count out a Tom Izzo coached team, and I do believe Gonzaga will be as disappointing as they always are.
Also not thrilled that Northwestern will likely make their first tournament appearance..(a depaul sucking kind of hate/jealousy there)
Thoughts? Who is fired up?

Unfortunately life events and schedules have not allowed me to watch many regular season games this year(probably the least since I was a kid and didn't really care actually), but I MAKE time to watch when the tournament starts. I hope there are a bunch of buzzer beaters this year. I know it can make or break a bracket, but the basketball fan in me loves that down to the last second stuff! :)

I love March Madness too, but last year's title game will be hard to top. I stayed up past my bedtime and watched it all the way to buzzer beater. Good times. I usually never give attention until the conference tourney title games start rounding out. My parents are SFA alumni, so I hope they make it yet again from the Southland. I need to learn a better system to make picks for my bracket. I wish I could have a decent one for a change.
Will be fun. I have no attachment to any particular school so I don't get caught up in being a homer or disgust for certain teams. I love upsets just as much as the next guy.

Sick to my stomach that Illinois can't get into the tourney. We, purposefully, set up the weakest non-conference schedule in the country and then win a couple of game in the BigTen, just to make the tourney. Not this year. We beat Michigan State last week and lost to Rutgers this week????? Rutgers, who is 3-15 in the conference??? Illinois doesn't deserve to watch the tourney, let alone be in a tourney......

I usually don't watch many regular season games but I always watch the tournament. I can't wait. It's gonna be hard to top last year's phenomenal game, though. As a Villanova fan, it was spectacular and one of the most exciting sports moments of my life. I was coming home from Texas (Wrestlemania) that day and sped home like a wildman to catch the game. It didn't disappoint, but my heart sank when Paige made that circus 3. Luckily, that wasn't the end - I even told my father that I thought Nova was gonna get it at the buzzer; I was ecstatic. I can only hope this year's title game is on par (just not Duke, pretty please).

Should be a great tournament as there doesn't appear to be a truly dominant team this year. It honestly wouldn't shock me to see any of the following teams in the Final Four (no particular order):
1.) Kansas
2.) UCLA
3.) Kentucky (not the team they were earlier in the year but a lot of talent if they get hot...yes! I'm a homer!)
4.) North Carolina
5.) Arizona
6.) Louisville
7.) Duke (kills me to say it but you can't ever count them out)
8.) West Virginia
9.) Oregon
10.) Baylor
11.) Gonzaga (maybe this is their year to make a run?!?...doubtful)
12.) Michigan State (also doubtful but they have a great coach)
13.) Florida State (not quite sure what happened to them but a couple games I watched earlier in the year they looked quite good)
14.) Virginia
