Kobe Bryant basketball camp autograph UDA issue

I recently came across a 100% authentic Kobe Bryant autographed Lakers jersey that My friend's son got it signed at Kobe Bryant Youth basketball camp in LA 2008. It comes with a UDA sticker but the original UDA card was lost. I checked the UDA number in their database, it is not exist at all. Then I called the Upper Deck, customer service representative told me they can not found this UDA number with Kobe Bryant autographed jersey registered in their system. How can it be? It was signed in front of a UDA representative by Kobe Bryant 100%, but Upper Deck never upload this information.

Is there any way they can obtained a certified copy from UDA for its authenticity? He is intended to sell it for some cash, but without the UDA certificate, there will be a big difference in terms of sell price.

Best thing you can do is send it to PSA for authentication since you already went the Upper Deck route.

UDA's system lookup isn't the most reliable thing on the planet. If you're keeping it, you know it's legit, so who cares. If you're worried about it's potentional long term value, yeah just send it to PSA their system lookup seems to work fine.
