Just got back into the hobby recently and just wondering if there are any innovative or commonly used storage methods among the members here!

Shoe Cardboard Storage Box (1600ct) - 25ct Bundle - $29.99 : Blowout Cards - Sports Cards and Trading Cards Wholesale Online Store (http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=118_135&products_id=3843)
These are my favorite. LCS's usually sell them for $3-6. They come in 2,3, or 4 row versions.

A few years back I made a pack with the dark forces of chaos that I would give them my eternal servitude. So now I just leave my cards lying around because they are protected by entities from beyond.

Tool chests from Sears. They work great and lock as well.

Do you have to stack them if you use a tool chest? Meaning you can't have them upright like a normal card storage box or have you found a way to do that?
always makes me jealous seeing those pics of grids, lol.

They sit upright just like they do in those big shoe boxes. So easy to flip through yours cards to look for something.

They are not cheap but they hold almost 4,000 cards in one-screws when you get the 3 stack ones like this. I opted for the ballbearing version just cause of the weight with all my screw down cases but if you only do top loaders the cheaper version will be fine. You should be able to get the 3 stack set for around 350.00 on sale. the ballbearing ones will run you around 500.00
Everyone steal this idea! They are secure. Organizable like a dream. and once they are filled its pretty damn hard for a burglar to pick it up and run off with one!

Axe, I just need you to convince my wife that all this cool junk is a good idea :)!

thats really cool idea there but do those chests have wheels cause that would kinda suck if so. If someone trys to rob you all they have to do is wheel your collection out. if it doesnt have wheels thats one of the best ideas ive seen yet

They come with wheels but you have to put them on :)! I just threw mine away I just have them sitting on 2x4's since its in a basement. That way it doesnt touch the cold cement ground.

Damn Grid, looks like you have multi thousands of dollars in screw down cases alone not to mention the cards in them... :D

I know, and I only use Ultra-Pro so they all match. It breaks my heart to put a 2003 Martay Jenkins jersey card in a $1.00 case :(

Oh yeah, I've got a buddy that owns a tobacco shop and he gives me all different shapes and sizes of cigar boxes. Some are cheap and some are built really nice, almost elegant. I love them cause they have lids with hinges and latches. This way I can have my cards all through the house and the boxes they are in just look like decorations.
