Basketball cards and on-card autos

Looking to start picking up a few basketball singles to add to my collection. As a primarily football collector, it's usually easy for me to avoid sticker autos, but basketball seems to be chock full of stickers. What, historically, have been some of the best on-card auto sets for the sport?

Flawless, National Treaures, Gold Standard, Paramount, Gala, Spectra, Immaculate, is a few I can think of off the top of my head.

Select always has some nice on card autos.

High-End: Flawless, Immaculate

Mid-End (closer to High): Noir, Gala, Spectra, Select

Mid-End (closer to Low): Revolution, Court Kings

There are other sets with nice on-card autos (like 15-16 Prestige Passport autos) but IMO, you should do just fine picking from these sets depending on what you like.

I will agree to disagree OP. I would not venture to say basketball is more stickery than football. I think it's the other way around.

Immaculate is my favorite for on card autos. They're always so clean.

I guess it's because I usually search for Dirk and other Mavs autos on eBay. It's seems like 85% of the autos that come up are sticker. I'll have to check out some of the higher end products in general.

Dirk doesn't sign a lot. Check out some of the mid to high end sets mentioned above. May need a beckett database to pinpoint specific years and sets. What other Mavs auto are worth it to appear in a hard signed set?

Pre 14-15 Gold Standard was great. They've really bastardized that set in recent years. Used to be a multi-case PC Break for me every year and have barely touched it since 14-15

If you're looking for post-90s I can't help you.

If you're looking for 90s, Autographics, UD3 Court Commemoratives and THIS set, which in my opinion is the best of all, even over Exquisite and anything else post 90s:
