Fairly high end Topps replacements received! How did I do???

Well... high end for me at least! And I waited a looooooong time! The 2 cards replaced were...

UFC Knock Out Fighter Red Ink Nickname Parallel of Brock Lesnar
UFC Knock Out Anderson Silva- Full Contact Autograph

I forget which years they were but I think the Silva was like 2010 or something and the Lesnar was maybe 2012. I've had Topps replacements before and I got smoked so I was worried when I got the package in the mail! I think I did ok but I stopped following them years ago. I REALLY wanted the Lesnar but gave up hope on it a long time ago anyways.

They threw these two in as freebies for redemptions. Very odd cards!?!?

I 100% agree. There is value here but all four cards together come nowhere near what the Lesnar card alone would be in value. They should have skipped the manufactured patches and just included a Bones autograph.

Any idea on the value of the Lesnar? I'm sure the Silva would be a typical Silva auto but I know the Lesnar would've been a sweet rare one. Not even sure what the value would be on it

Wtf!!! You get a gsp 1/1 and I get that random booklet auto??? Man that sucks.

I guess I'll try and contact them... See if they can do anything or exchange the booklet for something else

Yeah compared to his replacement you definitely got the big hose job. I've had a GSP Serra dual auto out of 10 that I've wanted to replace for awhile now, but seeing this really makes me scared but I've been waiting on this thing for like 4 years and it's obviously never getting made.

Topps pretty much says F you to collectors with their shitty replacements

I was just sent an unrequested replacement for a 2012 Finest A Silva / Aldo dual auto / Bloodlines relic bookcard # /10.... they sent a Rashad autographed mat and had the nerve to tell me they valued it more than the book card. No ufc fan would agree with that!

I have also been emailing and calling Topps about this redemption but they double down on their BS.

I mean come on... both Aldo and Silva have had hundreds of autos and relic cards in releases since 2012... but they could not make that card with their shitty auto stickers?

Topps and the other card companies open themselves up to class action lawsuits by the way the handle redemptions. They do not make an honest attempt to make the card plus they can replace with out warning and totally change a cards value based on their subjective opinion (and thus offer shitty cards). No one buys a Ferrari and accepts a Honda civic if the Ferrari is not available. Its called fraud!

Plus where do these replacements come from? They told me they do not hold back product... and only make enough product to fill pre orders. So where do the replacements come from? Perfect example is that GSP 1/1 auto... that is a mega case hit and every collector would like to pull that card from the MOT box they bought... So how does Topps have this card to send as a replacement? How many other nice cards have they not included in releases?

As collectors spending a lot of money... have to ask yourself wtf is going on here.

Spot on! Companies are holding out majorly on us collectors. I wonder myself how the hell do they get away with this crap. I stopped collecting UFC years ago. I still have my Arianny kiss card pending from Finest. Well I think I do. I do t even know my login and password to check it. Lol

Topps screwed me recently as well.

I redeemed a Jose Aldo knockout red auto /8

They replaced it with a ufc champions tj dillashaw auto that wasn't even numbered. Sells for $3 on ebay.

I sent an email and they said all replacement decisions are final and to basically eat crap.

Needless to say, makes not buying anymore UFC an even easier decision.

I don't think they are bad cards.
Me personally, I'd take the mike bisping card over a brock lesnar card.
Jimi manuwa isn't terrible right now. Cause he might be fighting for the title next.
Doubt he'll win though. But you never know, he might go on a tear and even face and beat jon jones. I doubt it.. But again, never know.
The 4/10 forrest card isn't that bad either.

This is what I was thinking also the Forrest and Rua dual auto is actually really nice, but I'd never accept that book card for Lesnar. He's still super popular even being all wrestling now.

Exactly... if the card is on the sell sheet, it should be released and included with the cases sent out.

Topps has told me that all boxes are sold, nothing held back. So where the F does these cards come from? Something very shady going on... almost fraudulent.

i had a Brock Lesnar 2012 KO Auto ...just a base...so prob /75 or /50 or whatever...tried to get a replacement for a while..but i wasnt collecting UFC anymore so i kept pleading with them over email to get a baseball or basketball auto...they finally gave in and gave me 3 options to choose from...2 were older HOF baseball options..and other was a Mookie Betts 2014 Five Star Silver Ink Auto 19/20....i took that and ran....just this week had to try to sell some cards to make some money...sold the Betts for $125....then the very next day in the mail i get a package from topps...i havent redeemed anything in forever so i had no clue what it was for...

i open the package and it says "we are sorry but your Brock Lesnar 2012 KO Auto will not be made, here is a replacement for you"

it was like a Jake Ellenberger auto/patch....AND a Max Holloway 1st auto from Finest!!! which is a fairly big card now with him on a 10 fight streak and about to fight Aldo....

and this was for a card that i already had replaced!!!!! they have no clue what they are doing over there these days...

I've had to fight them several times on replacements, don't be afraid to dig in your heels and fight for what you want. They are liable for replacing to your satisfaction.
