I'm listing a Lincecum Auto/Patch #'d 2/5. Just curious if I should list it at $0.01 and let it run or do a BIN with B.O. I know it's not a true RC, but still a nice card nonetheless.
Thanks!

I have no idea the value of it. If you have a want list let me know or I could try to put together an offer. email me at chefferc@sbcglobal if interested.

TK it is nice...saw you listed it once :) I'm guessing maybe 75-100? Normal rc auto's seem to be in the BC Auto's are in the 60-80 range. Tristar auto's seem to still sell ok but are significantly lower (1/3 to 1/2 of the BC prices).

I actually sold it "off-line" to a collector.
I rarely, Rarely, RARELY end an auction early that is not started with BO. I will only do it if I think the offer is at/above market AND I feel the person is collecting it, not trying to flip (obviously, some judgment on both). This is actually the first one I've ended early in over 2 years. Personally, I quit bidding on sellers who often end their auctions early. Just my preference.
Anyway, the guy who got it has been buying a lot of Lincecum cards and recently met him at a show and got some autos, a picture with him, etc. I won't tell you how much...but the price was more than 5 times the top price you mentioned! :)!
In all honesty, not that I request auctions to end early - but I would be glad to pay much more than market for a hard to find Tomlinson card if I really wanted it in my collection.

This might make you feel better...I purchased the 1/5 Lincecum auto from Elegance for just over $200.

No...actually somebody relatively new to e-bay. VERY NICE guy. And not just because he paid good money for the card - he's the kind of collector I can relate to (in terms of how I collect Tomlinson). I'll gladly pay over market for a rare card - so many of them are ended early and you may never see it again. For example, if somebody lists one with too high of a buy-it-now...I may jump just so I can have it and be done!

Note to self: buy high end/rare L. Tomlinson cards and look for a certain buyer from Blowout.....;)
