Hello everyone...

Recently, Someone bought from me (31) pcs of 96-97 Topps Chrome refractor cards. I was delighted to move these cards to possibly a set builder of the Chrome refractor set (the 1st ever)...

This buyer has had only (19) feedbacks (all positive buying experience) however, after giving me the rund down and delaying payments for like 3 weeks, he eventually asked me to cancel the transaction.

Naturally, at this point, I already had the unpaid item strikes open and eventually, I had elected to close all cases and get the FVF refund.

NOW THE BIG QUESTION: don't eBay buyers get an unpaid item strike on their account anymore? and how many must you accumulate to shut your account down? I just checked his profile just now and it still says 100% feedback on his account and apparently, it's still up!

What gives? the 31 items counted as (1) strike? It should've essentially closed his account down by now! Am I missing something that changed with eBay rules?

Oh....and does anyone need any cards for their own 96 chrome refractor set?

eBay has a moving number now for strikes.

It is no longer 3 and out. Some buyers have over two dozen in a year and eBay just temporarily only allows them to buy a few items.

Kicking buyers off is bad for their business.

WOW?! Really?! man...

And I thought, last month, there was another eBay buyer that wanted to cancel a card purchase from me just coz he thought shipping for 1 card (worth $5 and S&H from PH to the world was $4.75 - clearly stated on listing) was just too expensive. He asked if I could cut the shipping to like $3 and my stubborn self though
"it's not like I'm earning anything from shipping"

So I said... "hell naw" and just cancelled the order. Some buyers these days... YEESH!
