Just a simple question. Could be for Value, eye appeal, or you like that player the most.

All are Auto Versions forgot to put auto on Kershaw and Harper.

went with Pujols because there is only one version (multiple serial # repeats aside)

Trout

I also don't like Refractors.

No hesitation, Trout.

Trout is the flavor of the day, but at this very moment, Pujols and to me it's not very close.

Pujols for nostalgia's sake. It's also a beautiful card.

Thanks for the votes/comments so far. Not going to lie, I did not see Trout running away with it. Figured he would win, maybe 50% of the vote, but wow lol.

Give me a Kershaw Blue!!

I'm still debating, thinking way to hard on this question. Kershaw Blue (I LOVE Kershaw and met him in Low A, Class Act) or the Pujols. Ive always wanted that card.

Im in DC, so I'll take Harper

I never liked Pujols, Harper is a whinny overrated player who is so full of himself.

I am not much into pitchers, if I was maybe I would want the Kershaw.

Trout if he keeps going the way he is will be one of the greatest ever. So I went with that one, but there others I would actually rather have other than the Trout.

I went with the Trout base since I already have his and Harper's refractor autos. :)

Would love a Trout. Aside from a small stash of base RCS and non-auto Prospect base and chrome I don't have much but this was right when I was getting back into collecting and hadn't learned the ropes with Bowman.

Pujols > Trout > Kershaw > Harper

With the inevitability that Trout soon overthrows Pujols

Clicked on Pujols in .07 seconds. I agree with bluestreak, not even close

At this moment, I'd go with Pujols.. but I'd have to say Trout has the highest potential.

Pujols by a mile. The only actual rookie card of the bunch.

I still kick myself for selling my Kershaw Blue. I do want to pick one up again at some point.

Trout now for the price tag, but I feel that unless he puts together 5 more MVP seasons in a row its unsustainable.

Pujols by far. A proven HOF who's cards would only be increasing as closer to HOF induction. Statistically when he hangs up the cleats he will be one of the best that ever played. Then you factor in how the card was a redemption, limited quantity and it arguably one of the most iconic cards over the past 30 or more years it is simple. Pujols got me back into collecting, even saw him play on he field I grew up playing on. The others dont hold the same rarity in the fact that there are other versions and so on. The other players aren't just some guys and yes they are good, damn good but besides kershaw there is a lot hat still could happen good or bad. A Pujols 2001 bowman chrome is the top card that I would want, just behind a MAntle Rc

As has been said, I voted for Pujols without any hesitation. There are less than 500 of those out there. There is no way all 500 of those were redeemed. It is THE iconic baseball card of the 2000's. For those who said Trout, I would ask which variation do you want? You can't ask that of the Pujols.

Pujols. The one that started it all. Talk to me when Trout passes his numbers.

I'd rather have the Pujols easily. And the design Topps used for the Trout and Harper is ugly.

Lots of Harper Haters...love it...Kershaw beats out Harper??? Can't anyone like both Trout and Harper or are they Tupac and Biggie, Bloods and Crips, East Coast vs West Coast...I hope they both keep banging away it's better we have both than just one cause competition breeds even greater excellence. Although they will never admit they watch one another I have to just say yeah right! They definitely are aware what's going on with one another...

Sorry I am 47 and get why my generation likes Trout but after managing Little League for 7 years it's all about Harper with the next generation. Sorry Mr Vanilla the kids like big bad, so called, whiny Harper and that's the reality. Out of the mouths of babes so when the 12 year olds hit 20 it will be Harper they identify with. Stay vanilla Trout but kids like a little excitement with their heroes...

Kershaw. All day, every day.

HOF'er....dominant, still young.

I've been grabbing his '08 Topps Update....big upside on this card.

I'm 37 and I like Trout AND Harper. Trout is the girl you take home to mom and Harper is the girl that you brag to your friends about. I believe they are both great for baseball/the hobby. The debate is even better because it shows that people care.

^^^ Well said...

Harper brought in the kids with that Ultimate Warrior face paint... Trout has the older gen on his side for the way he just goes out and does his job without the fanfare. (I also like the Biggie Tupac comparison, minus shots fired of course...nice!)

Two diff attitudes... but both hammer the ball... fun to watch either way.
