Greetings...First Thread and First BGS Submission

I just got back into the hobby about a year ago after leaving it in my teenage years (cars and girls will do it) in the mid 90s.....wow have things changed with packs/cases/$$$. I opted out of buying new and decided to collect my favorite player growing up. I told myself that he can't be that popular still but to my amazement, Penny still brings the money.

I recently decided to test the waters of grade submissions and sent a handful or so off to BGS.

I was pleased enough to want to share and send another batch to be graded.

Picked this up dirt cheap at a local card show that was in my area.

Oh hell yeah, nice pickups there. Love the platinum portraits and the Kidd dual. Backcourt 2000... What could have been.

Haha that's what I thought when I saw this thread too. I love seeing others collect Penny because it only raises value in my collection but tired of seeing Penny go for higher prices than far more accomplished players. It's not surprising given his popularity and the fact that his biggest fans are now old enough to afford his cards. Penny collectors unite!

Wow, great cards! That Jordan is a real beauty.

I have never sent cards into be graded, but someone told me I might get in on like a group submission on here. I think I'll look into it, as I have a few that I've had for 20+ years that I'd love to see a grade on. I feel good about quite a few.
