Every so often I like to look at Basketball Reference (I think that's the name) and their Hall of Fame probability for players. I think they listed Manu around 20% which seems low. I'm not saying he's a lock but with his international career, Olympics and NBA, it seems to me it should be higher. By their scale, Blake Griffin is rated higher.

Yes for sure lock, international career puts him over the top. His NBA career alone is probably enough. Blake Griffin is not on track to be a HOFer.

Basketball Reference is a great stat site, but it doesn't take things into context. NBA legends and commentators were saying in the playoffs this year how Manu is a lock for HOF. His international career and significant role on several Spurs championship teams are things that stat sites can't quantify, but are always taken into consideration for HOF voting.

If Yao is in, Manu is in for sure.

Oh hell ya he's in. As many times as he's put a dagger to the Lakers and the titles say it all.

He could be in just for championing the Euro step.

Many is HOF.
Blake griffin will also be in HOF. His career is like Vince Carter even if griffin does not win rings.

I like Blake but he is not a HOFer yet. Let's not forget Vince has over 20k points for his career. Blake could be when it's all done but he is injury prone, hasn't won anything and doesn't have the longevity and totals yet and those injuries could keep him from that.

When it's all said and done I bet he gets in. Not because of a stellar career but because they let just about everyone in.

If going by just his NBA career ZERO CHANCE HE SHOULD MAKE IT, but his career as a whole he will make it with his strides in globalization of the game , not to mention his gold medal for his home country. Outside of that 13.6 3.6 and 3.9 aren't getting him anywhere near the hall of fame
110% HOFer... the question i guess should be , Will he be a first ballot entry?

Absolute lock. With his resume, both here and abroad, I can't imagine he's not first ballot material.

100% agree with all that's been posted.
LOCK for the HOF, should be 1st ballot, imo.

No brainer. Maybe BR only accounts for NBA stats for the HoF probability.

Manu had a full career.
He did it all at every level. Absolute legend.
I hope he goes around one more time.

Dominique Wilkins didn't make it on the first ballot. Therefore, just about no one should make on the first ballot anymore IMO.

Absolute lock for HOF. For me, its no question.
International Career. Olympics success. 4 Time NBA Champion and was a pivotal piece of that team for each of them.

First ballot LOCK. Its BASKETBALL HOF, NOT NBA HOF. Beat team USA, 4 time NBA champ, and the prototype for the player any NBA team would take now.

It's the Basketball HOF , not NBA hall of fame , he should be first ballot . Was very key in Spurs chip wins , all Nba'er a couple of years and add in prob resume wise top 5 international player of all time .
