1997-98 Precious Metal Gems pricing information

I was just looking through some old spreadsheets that I used to keep track of card prices. For some reason I tracked the prices of 1997-98 PMGs (despite never having owned one :p ). I tracked all the eBay sold prices between June 2013 and early 2016. I wonder if the prices have changed much since then?

Since this information is of little to no use to me, I thought others might find it useful.

This really won't help since I can't recall which player it was atm, but my friend sold a blatantly creased (might've even been multiple creases) red for around $80. It was a common, subpar player in terms of value, but I'm still surprised someone even paid that much for basically bgs1 condition. Had to have been a player collector.

Without knowing for sure, I’d say yes these are the reds. I can’t imagine a Jordan green averaging $9k. Where did your cousin just find a green?

Pulling this thread out of retirement, coming back to the hobby after over a 20 year hiatus, i noticed I had a red Steve Kerr in what looks to be at least near mint. I know these cards have a tendency to come with issues straight out of the pack. Since there was no grading cards when I collected, which company would you recommend I send this to for authentication and grading?

These prices were from several years ago lol. Look at the date of the original post. I think the $9k Jordan was sold in 2012 or something like that. Where's that damn time machine :D

I appreciate the reply. This set really seemed to go gangbusters. Looking at prices online, the numbers seem to be all over the place and very few notable players out there right now.
