I posted last week about a buyer from Australia who bid on my Jaylen Brown RPA /99, the highest-end auction I had ending that week, and then didn't pay.

This week another Australian buyer bid on my Jamal Murray RPA /49, the highest-end auction I had ending last week, and then didn't pay.

The culprit this week is mbcollectables10.

Didn't hurt as much this week because I wasn't as excited about the sale price anyway, but damn. Two weeks in a row. I'd recommend blocking this user.

Easy solution, don't allow international bidders to win your auction

Easy solution, don't allow international bidders to win your auction

I'm really hesitant to do that, for a couple reasons. The biggest is that the international market for basketball cards is huge. Allowing international bidders should lead to higher sale prices. I've also found that most international deals go smoothly.

The second is that there are a lot of great international collectors, and I want to allow them a chance at my cards.

With that said, it seems that more and more international bidders use COMC. And I hate dealing with international shipping (customs, lack of signature confirmation, etc.). I have moved to the Global Shipping Program (despite having a horrible experience the one time I used it previously) to avoid international shipping issues, but I may actually end up taking your advice, under the assumption that if international collectors really want my card, they can ship to COMC.

Dont think it matters where you're from it's going to happen at times. I'm from Australia and someone from the states was a non payer on one of my listings....haha so yeah. Australia is pretty big for collectors....just a shame we have to spend so much on shipping etc :(
