I've come to the land of "judged or be judged" to share my story...:)

On 06/05, I received a $325 offer for the item below:

2004 UD SP Authentic Fabrics Tom Brady / Chad Pennington Dual Jersey Auto 09/15 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/192154916348?ssPageName=STRK:MESOX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1561.l2649)

It was fairly close to what I was looking to sell it for, so instead of the hassle of a back-and-forth, I decided to accept. A few minutes after I accepted (which was probably 30-60 minutes after the offer), I received a message stating that the buyer "mis-typed" the offer and actually meant to offer $225. In the same message though, the buyer said that they were still very interested in the card and would love to work something out.

I responded that I was already hesitant on $325 and I was not interested in going any lower. After a few quick messages back-and-forth, I decided that I would refund the buyer $15 if they paid immediately and would ship via priority in a magnetic case. While the messages and my gut said this was an initial "red flag" of buyer's remorse, I decided that based on the buyer's feedback (700+) that I would proceed. Within minutes of paying, I then receive another message asking me when is the soonest the buyer can/will receive the card, which was a second "red flag" to me.

Fast forward to the day the buyer received the card and I receive a message that the card was "not as described." The buyer is attempting to state that the crease looks different than in the picture (not sure how...?) and that the autographs appear to look different in different lights (supposedly faded...?). I feel like the picture and listing description clearly show the condition of the card...

All three questionable acts seem like a clear indication of buyer's remorse to me, but what do y'all think? I've reported the buyer to eBay and suppose I will wait until they open a case, but does anyone have any other feedback, suggestions, etc.?

I also have reason to believe the buyer has already further damaged the card to support their case. Supposedly there is another crease above and to the right of the Chad Pennington jersey patch, which you can clearly see was not there prior to me shipping the card. If for whatever reason that eBay does side with the buyer, I have doubts whether I will receive the card at all. Thankfully I purchased ShipCover insurance...will this help me at all?

Regardless, I would avoid and block immediately.
