I'm a LeBron James fan, and I thought about buying a LeBron James Topps Chrome RC for my PC. The reason why I haven't purchased the card is because of LeBron's picture on the front - there is a shadow on LeBron's face cast by his arm. I know this is considered an iconic card. But am I the only one that is bothered by this? As much as I like LeBron, I don't know if I want to pull the trigger for this card.

Actually I think the opposite is true
Most modern RC are not in-game picture (think 1986 fleer , 1996 Kobe topps chrome and 97 Duncan topps chrome )

Look at KD rookies, curry and so on

If it's for PC you should for sure like the card if you're going to buy it, but since this is such an iconic card and his main rookie I would say just buy it.

If it's for PC you should for sure like the card if you're going to buy it, but since this is such an iconic card and his main rookie I would say just buy it.

I've been thinking about buying it for the last three years. As I keep stalling, the price keeps rising. Maybe I should get it. Lol!

I actually dislike the TC Kobe RC. I have dozens of cards I would rather get, before I finally score a chrome.

I would like the picture a lot if there wasn't a shadow on his face. I prefer a clean picture of the player's face. But I think I'm the only one on this forum that doesn't like the picture.

I hear what you are saying. In my opinion the shadow looks worse in pictures than it does when you have the card in hand.

I have a lot of nice LeBron stuff but have never owned a Topps Chrome. It really just doesn't appeal to me. I always thought it was a weird picture.

I'll agree to the extent that I believe that 50% of the reason the Jordan Fleer is as iconic as it is is because the photo is the most Jordan photo ever.

He's going for a dunk with his tongue sticking out... That's how I remember Michael Jordan. His Fleer RC is definitely iconic.
