View Full Version : Please help. Seller on blowout hasn't sent card I bought for 150

I recently made my first purchase through blowout on July 29th and I have yet to receive card or even confirmation he sent the card.
He goes days between responding to my messages and each time he says he will send card next day. It's now been 5 days since last response and I can see that he has been posting more cards for sale everyday.
I have the private message/paypal transaction proof of purchase so what are my next steps? The card was 150 bucks so it wasn't cheap and I don't want anyone else getting screwed over. The member in question has 11 positive Itrader stats and they are recent so I have given him the benefit of the doubt but after 2 weeks I am worried I have lost my money.

Post sellers name and then leave him a negative. Also contact moderator.

First off their user name will do. I would file a claim on Paypal, that usually gets them off their arses to ship. You paid Paypal goods correct?

Oh man, yeah never send gift payment. I would get on the phone with Paypal immediately and contact a Mod. Did he ask gift person to person?

He just bumped his Ahmed Rosario selling thread and I posted there that he should contact you or else he was getting a net. Lets see if he responds. You might also want to post there so that he sees it and anyone else possibly interested in dealing with him also knows what he's about.

If you did pay PP gift and not pp Goods did you use a credit card? If so you can always file with your credit card, just make sure to provide all messages and thread to show the transaction.
You can also post in his threads asking why he has not responded to your pm/mailed your package. That should get his attention quick.

Edit: That would make sense that since OP sent gifts and the seller will not have his address until OP gives it to him. If seller just provides OP with the tracking, seems like everything will be fine.

If you have a shipping schedule or handling time, I would list it in your FS threads. Some people in the forums don't like to wait and expect the seller to ship next day.

Address was given immediately and I asked for tracking information that day when he ships. He didn't respond and I sent him message 3 days later and asked if card had been shipped, he said no and that he will ship monday. I then said ok and will you please send me tracking when card is shipped. He said ok and here we are, it's Wednesday and i messaged him to send tracking information and he didn't respond until I said I was reporting to the MODs. I was scared after everyone said I sent the payment wrong, but I will bite my tongue for now and trust that he is being honest and hopefully the card arrives tomorrow like it should if he sent it yesterday. Thanks again everyone and I hope this was a big misunderstanding.

When you noticed he sent friends and family why didn't you refund immediately and ask him to pay the correct way? As an "experienced" seller on here it is your duty to make sure newbies are doing the correct thing on here.

The old tracking numbers used to be 20 digits but haven't seen them in awhile..

Another update. DockEllis messaged me and said he sent me 150 back on paypal and that I should send him 100 back when the card arrives. Here's the kicker, he never sent me the money. Big surprise. And clearly the tracking number he wrote up is not for the card in question. He is a fraud.

Glad you got your money back :)!. I don't see that happen often around here, especially when someone sends a gift payment.

A tough one for the mod. Since he also provided fake tracking, the refund may not save him. I think the card needs to mysteriously arrive at the buyer's place with that tracking number provided to save him.

Just an FYI.....ask sellers to send you an invoice....that way your payment will be sent properly via PayPal goods. Glad it all worked out!
