We don’t yet have 2017 Topps Update (http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=8_11&products_id=13428&utm_source=Blowout%20Buzz&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=Blowout%20Buzz) yet, but we know a few rookies who won’t make the cut because Topps has begun teasing its inclusions in next year’s set.
Eight rookies — and one promotional nugget of news — were released by the company on Monday.
Among the rookies will be New York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier, who has 27 hits in his first 28 games along with 17 RBI since his debut. Who else will we expect to find in 2018 Topps Series 1 (http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=2018+Topps+series+1&utm_source=Blowout%20Buzz&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=Blowout%20Buzz)?
Red Sox rookie Rafael Devers will be in Series 1 along with the Braves’ Ozzie Albies, the Mets’ Amed Rosario and Dominic Smith, the Phillies’ Nick Williams and Rhys Hopkins and the Rockies’ Ryan McMahon.
The other news for 2018 Topps (http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=2018+Topps+series+1&utm_source=Blowout%20Buzz&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=Blowout%20Buzz)? There will once again be silver promo packs allocated to hobby channels just like there were for this year. Will they be Chromed 1983-styled cards like this year’s 1987s? We should know for sure very soon.
