Autographs/Memorabilia: 1
Reprint Autographs (1) – Al Kaline (/110)
What’s Buzz-worthy: This product is an interesting one — an all-acetate, all-autographs release that includes reprint autos and then parallels for those and base cards, giving us a mix of past and present stars. This particular box yielded one of two reprint autos found in a 20-box case and a Hall of Famer isn’t a bad find. The volume on this card — and others — may seem higher than you’d expect to see, but that’s a good thing, meaning there are more of these players available for people to pull, not just a handful. The base set includes notable names on the 2017 design, while this one showcases 1954 Topps — Kaline’s Rookie Card. The checklist for this one (https://blowoutbuzz.files.wordpress.com/2017/03/2017-clearly-authentic-bb-checklist.pdf) includes some strong names — Aaron Judge, Bryce Harper, Clayton Kershaw, Ichiro Suzuki, Mike Trout, Kris Bryant, Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Greg Maddux, Hank Aaron Sandy Koufax and many more. This one worth a rip if you’re all about ink and don’t mind acetate.
