Prizm Silver and Topps Chrome Refractors. Who will rise next?

Obviously there has been a large increase in the non-auto rookie card over the last 2 years. Below are just some of the current (most recent sale I could find) values of players' RC silver or refractor cards.

Anyone expect an increase this season by any of these players, or any other player not mentioned?

Any player's markets lower or higher than you think it should be?

For starters you'll want to update the price on the Lebrons..... last PSA 10 sold for $3850. $4300 for the one before that.

If you can find a PSA 10 for $2850 please let me know, paypal ready.

Maybe Harden if they make a deeper playoff run this year. I honestly think the rest of these will drop a bit during the regular season once more 17-18 products are released.

One theory I have about the exponential increase of some of these during this last season / off season (besides maybe Lebron and Durant due to finals appearances/championships) is due to the weaker 16-17 rookie class and people's general lack of interest buying higher end product this last season. That translates to more money to spend on the latest hyped up cards which have been prizms/chromes as of late. I've contributed to the hype as I collect these myself, don't get me wrong :), I just think prizms and chrome are maybe a bit too overhyped right now and thus have the most room to drop. I could be wrong though which is why it's really just a theory..

Guess we'll see what happens to the older stuff once 17-18 prizms of the top drafts picks show up. I expect all time high hype prices on those.. :)

Giannis silver prizm BGS 9.5 got $1050 best offer, or one recently auctioned for $820.

Ben Simmons BGS 9 got $400, BGS 9.5's get around $500 and PSA 10's get around $700-800.

Kawhi Leonard is also probably real expensive but only one I see there is a September auction of a PSA 9 for $600.

I agree with mindcycle that these are most likely to fall in the coming months (for current RC Prizms).

The one I think that actually will rise is Ben Simmons. That card has a few things going in it's favor:

1) Simmons is likely the ROY
2) The 76ers will be on national TV 14 times this year
3) Simmons will be talked about/on highlight reels with every great pass he makes
4) The 76ers are a team that people are hyping to break out in the coming years
5) His Prizm card is his top RC card (like Kobe, Duncan, etc...)

Players like Kawhi and Giannis have BETTER cards than their Prizm RC.

Ben Simmons top RC will be his Prizm RC.
