Chalmers in, Baldwin out. That was fast. I assume he signs on with a Gleague team? Have not been impressed with the little I've seen of him

Kay Felder is another guy that comes to mind as well...

He'll find a landing spot somewhere. He just never looked comfortable with the Grizz.

With today's Wade Baldwin news, the last Grizzlies 1st rounder to get a 2nd contract from the team was Mike Conley. He was drafted in 2007.

2014: 22nd Jordan Adams
2012: 25th Tony Wroten

2010: 25th Dominique Jones
2010: 28nd Greivis Vásquez
2009: 2nd Hasheem Thabeet

Felder was just traded I think, have not seen anything about him getting waived by Hawks yet.

The Atlanta Hawks have waived Kay Felder and Richard Jefferson.

Atlanta acquired the pair of players in a trade with the Cleveland Cavaliers in which they also received the lesser of the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves’ 2019 second-round picks, and a protected 2020 Portland Trail Blazers’ second-rounder.

Makes sense. I've seen interest in Jefferson from teams. I know he wanted to retire a few years ago so not sure how interested he is, then again he already put in the hard off season work

I’m going to say they need some work in the scouting department... I am going to go and look in these draft classes and see who they passed up.

2009 they passed on Harden and Curry, imagine those teams with either one of those guys on it.
2012 they passed on Draymond (though to be fair everyone did)

The rest didn't have many major blemishes.

without even looking at the draft list, i figured since the thabeet pick they have done the worst drafting in the nba, the last 3 pix basically never even got on the court period, and thabeet is probably the all-time worst 2nd pick, i dunno what they were thinking, if you ever watched him play, he didnt even run correctly.

I remember watching him in high school. He played with Towns. If you would've told me then that he'd be a 1st rounder in a two years, I would've looked at you sideways. Physically, he looks the part. But that's it.
