lol, his 3rd NBA game ever and let the trashing begin. We all knew going in, his shooting would be his crutch early on in his career, so if you want to say he had an awful game shooting, yes he did. Other than that, he was fine. Nearly posted another triple double in back 2 back games.

He's a stat stuffer. Camps out under the rim for rebounds to throw full court passes. Is that how the offense is designed? Maybe but his negative impact defensively is going to outweigh the 8 assists and rebounds he gets a game.

Lakers won't beat anyone unless they score 130+ a game. When Lonzo/Lopez/Ingram are bricking 3 after 3 it's going to be tough

The rooks look great this year so far. Besides Fultz who is hurt and Lonzo this class looks super loaded.

Remember this draft class is hyped so much that 16-17 products are selling slow because of it.

Fultz is not garbage, not yet, but don't see how he can come close to some other 1st picks like Wiggins. Ball is Jason Kidd, slightly more athletic, much worse defensely though, nothing more than that. People will still happily pay 3k+ for his NT RPA though;)

Ball will eventually get some D stats (steals) by getting into passing lanes a la Curry ... he needs to get much stronger & will need to learn how to defend the post but IMO he will never be a great on ball defender

I personally was a fan of Dlo. I think his first 2 years were tough, Kobe retirement tour in Year 1 and the Nick Young thing Year 2. A new environment was probably best for him

Sub 2 AST/TO ratio, still a mediocre 3pt%, brought his FG% up but it's early, still a negative defender, still makes questionable decisions and turns the ball over too much.

Same player just taking more shots now.
