I'm not an expert on these sorts of things, but it looks very suspicious! :(

doesn't seem like it, probably just bids in small increments, new user who doesn't know how to bid. it's spread out over a bunch of sellers. lots of bids only 8% with the seller of the auction you are in.

When a guy has NO feedback history...but multiple bid retractions....its a JUNK account.

Yes! 41 items bid on, 0 feedback (so hasn't won any of those 41 items), and 3 bid retractions. That's why I bid seconds before an auction ends.

Spread out over a bunch of sellers, yes, but probably because the user bid on a bunch of random items for a very low price at the start of an auction so that it would decrease his/her "bids with this one seller" percentage, but the user wouldn't have a chance to actually win the other decoy auctions.

New user, incremental bids, bid retractions make this very suspicious.

actually I am retracting my statement, yes OP you were shilled, the seller is MIA member valleyofthesun who was caught shilling his auctions.

I knew the Ebay ID looked familiar.

I just told the guy to kick rocks. Can't wait to see his reply...

Thanks so much for everyone's thoughts...

OP, yes, you were shilled.

While we are on the subject of shilling, let's look at this gem https://www.ebay.com/itm/2016-Panini-Select-Ben-Simmons-60-Tri-Color-Rookie-Prizms-PSA-10/322839416518?hash=item4b2aba8ec6:g:xocAAOSw9KhZ6kUr

Several of the same card at the same grade can be had for 40% of the price.

This auction ended just an hour ago and has already been relisted.

IMO that lot will be worth $10 in 5 years. No offense.

Shilling was horrible in the early 2000's on EBay. Would catch multiple Scammers, but in those days a member could contact other members to let them know.
