i understand i can't post my email address here so when i post some cards for sale how is the deal consummated? is it negotiated all out in the open for everyone to see? can payment be made by check?

First Question: You can discuss the parameters of deals open in public in your thread or via private message, as for Payments, Paypal is the main thing used for online transaction, you can accept check, money order or cash thru the mail, but it is hardly done anymore as many will opt for Paypal as it provided protection.
Have any other questions feel free to ask, but do so with another thread in the correct section , for this and you it would be new member introductions or Baseball Talk section, this section here is for selling and trading ONLY
