Ever looked through a box of your PC and found a card you didn't realize you owned?

So I was just adding some low numbered cards to my PC box (Big shout out to 248rayment4343 btw on the Mike Evans SSPs I recently purchased)....

I had absolutely no idea I had this card in my possession.

How did you own a 1/1 PC Card and not know about it?

I recently found a base /5 of nobody special in a box myself, but it was something I pulled and never saw the numbering somehow, I imagine by PC card you acquired it at some point but didn't pull it yourself?

Nice find! Can't say I ever forgot about a '1 of 1', but I've had a few under the radar guys that became stars later. It's the moment you go dang, I didn't even realized I had that card.

The best-worst case of this was Sammy Sosa 1990 Leaf. I probably had a half dozen of these sitting with the Billy Hatcher, and Walt Weiss section of my shoe box. Think we were all initially chasing Thomas, Justice, and Walker, and realized a few years later when the Juice Ball was in full swing, that Sosa was THE card to get before it Enron-ed.

Not PC but I found a Trevor Reiley 1/1 immaculate card. No clue who he is either. Hahah

How did you own a 1/1 PC Card and not know about it?

It was hidden in the back of the box behind some other Bucs cards and was not where it should have been. I did look on my spreadsheet and saw that I added this card to my PC back in May of 2015.

Not so much on the low numbered but on the "One of a Kind" cards - Uniform # or Number 1/###. I find many of those.

I have about 90% of my cards categorized/logged in excel, but every now and then I grab a random 2 row and just go through them. I forget I have half the stuff I have. It's nice to go through them and appreciate your collection from time to time.

I can relate. Busted Absolute in the car ride home at a tradenight last month. Thought I pulled a super bowl kid or panini advertised card. Dump contents out when I got home and actually read the card as the reemption ended face up and it was the case hit glass redemption of dak
