i guess a may release isnt bad . but products get delayed all the time so im guessing we can expect these in late june maybe. which isnt bad since knockout should be out in a few weeks. so the releases are not too close together. im just wondering how many more ufc releases topps plans on releasing this year ?

i love the design on the liddell auto , it has a nice retro look to it.

Total BS, if Topps is going to do to UFC what they do with football and baseball I'm friggin out. Oversaturating the market with new releases is killing this industry. You can call it a new name but at the end of the day it's the same damn thing. 4 hit 2 autos 2 relics with a boring design. Oh wait your putting a mini replica belt in a card,lol are you serious? At least Knockout looks 100% better with the designs like the TTT cards. I will stay far away from this crap.

I disagree, I'm a die hard ufc fan and I'm not in anyway a flipper, but just like everyone else I like the cards to hold some value. It gets to a point where when there are too many products being pushed out, the value of collecting that sport becomes next to nothing. Why would you pay for something that's value can't even amount to it's worth inside? It makes no sense to me. Now you can say collecting is what it's all about, but you bet your ass the price of the boxes are going to drop like rocks as the printing presses keep turning this stuff out, look at UFC round 4, over produced and your paying now about half the cost of when it came out because of the mass production. Perfect example is how Topps and Panini has turned collecting football products into a joke. New products coming out every month that look a little different, but at the end of the day are completely the same. If there was something unique about this product, other than fake plastic belts in the cards:rolleyes:, this wouldn't be an issue. Now I'm just guessing with the track record of how much and how quick Topps is pushing out other products that they will follow suit the their UFC product seeing as this is coming out right after knockout, but I really hope not. I just can't justify overpaying for an overproduced product in which the value will drop like a rock in a few weeks, and they come out with another similar product with a different name on the box right after this one.

i agree with your post , im not a major flipper either but i am still a little upset that i paid practically double for the cases of the last series . you can get them for like half price now.

why the price jump ? has anyone special been added to the checklist ? this is almost as expensive as knockout and im willing to bet it wont be nearly as good . so why 1000 ? for a case ?

Price jump is due to the notice from Topps that allocation is cut 24%. If you get a case through a card shop, I recommend checking with them to see if this is only for distributors.

With the past run of Topps not releasing or producing, who knows, a lot of the 1st autos that they put in the sell sheets, I wouldn't even bet on seeing all of them even if they do release the names.

Does anyone know what's up with the "UFC Unlocked" cards? From reading the card, they seem to be pretty similar to the diamond cards from baseball. Does anyone think they'll have anywhere close to as much value as the diamond cards?

I am so glad I did not order this product. The cards may look ok but Topps can suck it with all the damn redemptions. This has gotten out of hand. I have seen multiple 6 and 10 box breaks and all of them have at least a half dozen redemptions.

this stuff is horrible.. a buddy of mine opened a case of this and got destroyed. This is has got to be the weakest UFC product to date. The only cool thing was the oversized WEC ring cards, those were pretty sick , as most are multi patches. other than that the autos were weak , and theres alot of scrub autos.

I love how they say allocation is cut BUT there is a WHOLE LOT of it at the 3 Walmarts and Target where I live. I think the stuff is crap. It looks like the same stuff they put out every time that is full of redemption cards.

in all honesty seems the boosters are they way to go. those flag patches especialy of silva and gsp are saleing for 50+ on ebay. i grabbed one booster yesterday didnt get a hit but got a silva flag patch. gonna go today and get the last couple boosters. cards arent that bad but ive seen some horrible box breaks. alot of scrub autos for sure.

I pulled a Auto/Relic out of a Blaster so if i can get those odds out of a Blaster no need to spend the $90+ on a hobby box. I'm gonna try to collect the Flags if anybody has any to trade or sell. Not paying ebay prices though so if you want to make the money i'd sell quick on the bay. The prices will fall the more thats released.

i just bought two more blasters today, the flags i got were couture, and bispbing. i pulled two relic belt cards one of rashah evans and the other bj penn. not bad for 30 bucks. especially when the couture and the silva patch are saleing high on ebay.

Where did you get the boxes from KosMMA? I Bought a box from a guy on ebay and it was missing hits... think he may have opened it and took the good hits then resealed it. This is the 2nd time I ordered from him and I think it was my box of Knockout that was missing a hit. The plastic wrap on the box seemed to be harder then the normal plastic wrap. Has anyone else had this problem and is this possible?

I had a few boxes of this and you could very easily tell if there was a box topper by the weight of the box. This is one thing I dont like that the card companies do. They insert heavy box topper hits like UD did with their video card in football and you can tell which boxes its in. I would guess people are weighing the boxes and taking the toppers out and re-sealing and possibly taking other hits as well at the same time. ???

You have to send in the wrappers, UPC from the box, receipt, and letter of explanation. The info is on the topps website on how to do it.

The thing is I don't think it is topps normal shrink wrap. I can normaly get through it with my hands but had to cut through this wrap with a blade. It can't be very hard to rewrap a box if you have the equipment, I've seen them do it to games at gamestop.

Those who paid $50 were idiots, they only paid that much because it was brand new and people didn't understand they are manufactured. This happened when Topps first released these patches in Baseball Blasters like 3 years ago. I made a killing because people would pay $50 when the blasters were $20.

The Silva/GSP can be had for 10-15 now

Hi - a similar situation happened to me a few years ago. I bought on Ebay what I thought was a factory sealed box of 2006 Topps Series 2 rack packs looking for Alex Gordon SPs. When it arrived something about the box did not seem right. In this case the shrink wrap was rather loose and there was a hole in the wrap. Upon further inspection I determined the box was searched and resealed. I had some other unopened Topps retail product in my house and I compared the shrink wraps. The Topps logos on the wrapper were slightly off on the Ebay box & upon closer look I could see it was actually a stamp. I contacted the seller & then filed a claim with Paypal. I received a full refund but had to return the box. This may not work for you since you opened the packs. There are SHADY PEOPLE out there that will search these boxes and then reseal them so they look new & hope they don't get caught. Complete A $ $ holes IMO and I hope they all get what they deserve.

Hope this helps. Also, I had missing hits several times from Knockout but I know those were legit Topps screwups cause I bought them from my LCS and he doesn't search stuff. In fact he never really busts much just sells lots of boxes and cases.
