It was illegal formation, not a false start. On an illegal formation time still runs off the clock during the completion of the play. Since the clock was at 0 at the end the half is over.

Falcons aren’t very good. If Kamara didn’t get hurt Saints would have won.
If anything, Dan quinn is very lucky. The king of clock mamangent did it again, declining the holding call that would have pushed Saints almost out of FG range and made it 3rd and 11.
I guess he doesn’t realize 4th and inches from the 25 yard line is an easy go for it down (and conversion) for anybody with balls. He wouldn’t know. He almost cost them the game with that bad decision

Hit on Kamara was not dirty by any means. If anyone looks at that game and thinks the officiating was on point then I don’t know what to tell you. I always say you can’t blame officiating and never complain about it because you can’t stop it but last night was different they were determined to go after the saints. Can’t wait to see Payton’s game plan vs the Falcons in two weeks.

A complete and utter #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@ game. Over 8 players injured for the Saints, Kamara, Aj Klein, Vaccaro, Hendrickson, Kelemete, and some others I don't remember. Get rid of Thursday Night Football. Horrible call against Sean at the end of the game. GIVE HIM THE GODDAMN TIMEOUT. Almost half of the Falcons first downs came on penalties. A defensive holding was called on almost every play. Refs were definitely out for the Falcons last night. Complete #@#@#@#@#@#@#@#@

He got his timeout. He tried calling a timeout while the ball was on the ground rolling around from a fumble....He got the timeout as soon as the play ended (he thought it ended when it didn't and cost his team). There was defensive holding called on almost every play, because they were being mugged. The biggest questionable call was the roughing call against Ryan that ultimately led to a TD. Otherwise they could have called a hell of a lot more in the secondary.

That’s the game that worries me. Hope the Falcons can take care of the Bucs but it’s a division game on the road. Then it’s all up to the last game at home vs the panthers. 10-6 is possible, hopefully.

I think Falcons make the Playoffs whether it’s Wild Card or the South only time will tell. I just want to watch football without all of the yellow on the field. Pretty soon games will be 4 hours long. Falcons will handle the bucs just fine, Matt Ryan just needs to cool it with the turnovers, he has been horrendous lately. 1 last night was absolutely not his fault but the one in the end zone was a throw that even guys like Bortles, Kizer and Savage wouldn’t even throw.

Officiating was terrible. It was inconsistent in favor of the Falcons. But all the calls on No werent wrong except maybe the roughing. The Saints werent neccessarily getting those calls. Theres a difference and I never said they didnt favor the Falcons. I said their calls on the Saints were right, and they were. They just let the Falcons get away with more, which is a different story. And theres been several clips of Seans reaction being his own fault. Should they have thrown the flag, probably not. But at the same time what he did wasnt warranted either. But sure Im deusional 🙄

Not necessarily. That division could possibly be won with only 8 wins, so they've a little more margin for error yet...

Strange the Raiders aren't on TV out here (SoCal). The only early local game is Dallas/NY. We get the Rams and Chargers for the late games, but I'll mostly go with Red Zone.

The Bills either have to straight-up lose or the Patriots need to win tonight. The Patriots can also clinch a top-three seed if they either beat Miami, or if Indianapolis beats Buffalo and Oakland beats KC.

Edit: Since the Bills won, New England needs to win tomorrow night to clinch the AFC East. There is no possible scenario in which they can clinch a first-round bye this week.

If you go by technicalities, sure. But the Packers aren't getting the 1 seed. To even get a WC they need help from Atl, Car, and Sea all losing. Their only hope is that they have the tiebreaker h2h against every WC fighting team except the Falcons.

Considering the inconsistency of all three of those teams this season, that's a very real possibility.

Those teams arent all losing their remaining games. ATL could sure cuz they get the Bucs, Saints than Panthers. Probably go 1-2. The Hawks have an "easy schedule" after the Rams next week. Carolina has an "easy" schedule left as well. Hoping every 1 of those teams essentially lose out is naive. Then you need the Eagles and Rams to not win another game either? The Packers then have to beat out the Cowboys (tied with them only leading by tiebreaker) and Lions (who they play). Their chance of even making the playoffs is like 10%. If that. It's gunna suck when the Packers do all this, bring Arod back to "run the table" and just barely miss out on a WC spot.

Here are a few more playoff scenarios that have come into focus based on today's early games (particularly Minnesota's loss to Carolina):

Washington will be eliminated from the playoffs if they lose to the Chargers. (This is because Detroit, Atlanta, and Carolina all won this week.)

Arizona will be eliminated from the playoffs if they lose to Tennessee or if Seattle beats Jacksonville.

Houston will be eliminated from the playoffs if either Baltimore defeats Pittsburgh or Miami defeats New England.

Tampa Bay, Denver, and Indianapolis have all been eliminated from the playoffs.

Pittsburgh can clinch a playoff berth if they defeat Baltimore tonight.

Philadelphia can clinch the NFC East if they defeat the Rams today.

They still play Det though. That's why they weren't listed. If Gb wins out, they jump Det regardless of what DET does. That isn't necessarily the case if GB wins out compared to ATL, CAR, etc.

They don't needhelp in the first scearnio, they do in the others because the other teams need to lose more games along with GB winning out.
