Looking to try a break where each slot holder will get multiple items

2010 Bowman Sterling has the following breakdown:

EVERY 6-PACK BOX CONTAINS 20 HITS PER BOX:
- 4 Autograph Rookie Cards
- 8 Autograph MLB Future Star Cards
- 6 Team USA Star Autograph Relic or Relic Cards
- 1 Dual Autograph Card
- 1 Dual Relic Card Box Topper
- 6 Rookie Cards
- 6 MLB Future Star Cards

So - a 4 box case would result in 4 times the above items.

With that said, here would be the slot break down

8 Auto Rookie card slots (2 autos per slot)
8 Auto Future Stars slots (4 autos per slot)
6 Team USA Auto / Relic slots (4 hits per slot)
2 Dual Auto slots (2 hits per slot)
2 Dual Relic topper slots (2 hits per slot)

Total of slots would be 30.

While I don't want to seem rushed .. No break host wants to be scrambling to fill (and get paid for) slots at the last minute. Since I am now working 4 days a week where I have zero personal PC access - I only get 3 days to really handle this stuff (unless I want to be doing it at midnight).

The non-auto'd cards are considered base and go to the slot holder based upon what type they are (FS or Rookie)

We need to discuss printing plates, as they aren't listed as being under any specific subset - my thoughts would be to randomize them amongst all participants if we even got any. Thoughts?

Don't confuse those.

12 base cards per box and 6 future stars.

I got a base slot which is VERY cool when the box is $ 235.

I'm going to get 24 base cards from 2 boxes.

Perfect slot for the set builders :)

Hey Aaron, seeing some of these breaks, it doesn't appear that all boxes have 4 RC autos per box. That concerns me a little, as I have 2 spots that are RC Auto's 3 and 4. Wondering what we are going to do if that happens?

I've heard of some boxes/cases working out to more than 20 hits a box. Maybe we fill the slots the way they fall to begin with then hope for extras to balance things out by the end of the case.

I think we have to be optimistic and then deal with whatever bumps might occur.

Thinking out loud... If we are short a rookie auto in box 1 but box 2 has 5 rookie autos, the fifth would go back to fill in the hole in the first case.

Seems fair to give them a shot considering the rookie autos tend to be better overall. Tough call.

If the shorted holders accept the FS autos in place of the RC autos, we will have either a Ruffin of a Sale FS auto that will be randomized all between everyone. That means that if Topps does anything for the shorted items, these 5 items would be randomized as well once received.

Didn't mean it as a crack, just to maybe be a little more careful. One break I was in where shipping quality became an issue was talked about in the threads. A few days later, the same guy was running another break. IMHO, these can get messy for a lot of reasons and sometimes for innocent reasons.

While I agree that it's not the mods' fault, this place has also become a haven for sh-tty breakers (at least on the baseball side) over the past year or so. I've been in more bad GBs than I have good ones lately, including one where the kid stuffed cards into a used sandwich bag. Hopefully, Aaron's cards show up without any PB&J residue.

Not sure if it mattered, but I emailed him and thats where I got the response. Not sure if that was due to a smart phone, timing or what. But yes, communication is key. heck took 3 or 4 days (or more?) to get out the 08 Limited Break, but one post a night giving guys a status update, keeps everyone happy.

Who had the bad shipping? I think enough "important" stuff is not reported in all honesty. still no tracking info and it's a week after aaron said cards were going out- I live a little bit north of md- it took me 3 hrs to get to the national and the weather can't be used as an excuse. I'm still getting my packages out- This is brutal!!!
